There is no way around saying this, a lot of our fans are deplorable human beings. I'm the first one to have a go at anyone dishing out abuse to our players or managers and have got myself into some difficult situations in doing so, but I honestly didn't feel he was on the end of anything out of order at games, although am willing to be proved wrong
Throughthelaces
He's done the right thing we were only heading one direction under him. If anyone's gave him or his family abuse its out of order and wrong.  From the footballing perspective we weren't setting our stall out the best way we could even with the injuries too slow going up field midfield doesn't look like it communicates with each other.  Players genuinely look at times like they've not played with one another all season. I hope we take our time and make the right appointment for us give Stevie frail to end of season while we evaluate candidates.

If Frail stays then he is the obvious choice to keep things going until the end of the season.  Personally there is very little between all the clubs in the SPL right now, we are going through a bad patch, just like every other club has or will.  Not sure there is a magic wand that will see us playing silky football!!  Also no surprise form dips when we don’t have Miller in the team.    Good point on the players still playing for him, which seems to have been the case, outside of the rumored bust up with Casey. There could be some fallout there, and it will take a strong person to manage that. The fact that 2 managers in a row have left us due to abuse from the fans is embarrasing. It's way too convenient for us to dismiss it as spin or scapegoating. I do think there is a shade of managing his own brand and leaving at the right time, but we're kidding ourselves if we think the abuse didn't happen.

mio
Lennon I think could be a decent enough fit for a club like ours. I think he’s a decent manager as well but I have no doubt there will be a % of our fans who will hate him for a couple of reasons.

So presumably he must be a liar in your eyes. And yet he's made himself unemployed and has no guarantee of ever managing a club again. Do you honestly think it's a wily calculation to further his career? It was obvious over the last couple of weeks he was rattled by the abuse he was getting. I've been ill the last couple of weeks and not very active online but the atrocious abuse towards players, staff etc is there at the best of times, I can only imagine what it's been like since the cup defeat. It's embarrassing and disgusting.

I said after Alexander we would struggle to attract good managers to the club and we have struggled. Now it's happened again. What does the future hold for us when managers are rewarded with hatred for what is to all extent and purposes, relative success? This has become a trend and if it continues we are going to be the worse for it.
