Just watching some videos of Aberdeen fans after todays game hurling some amount of abuse at Thelin who to his credit came over and applauded them.

Same circumstances as us different outcome.

Wonder what the media darlings will have to say about that?.

I think most if not everyone knows that there is no way the media, especially BBC Scotland would allow Aberdeen fans to be tarred with the same brush based on the actions of a few individuals and a manager using that as a convenient excuse to quit to save his reputation like as what has happened with us.

Just watched Frails preview of the Celtic game on YouTube. All he was asked in the first 10 minutes was how toxic the fans are. He didn't exactly defend the fans. Pathetic.

The narrative has been set and this is going to run for a bit yet. People are gullible sheep who generally believe what they’re told if they’re told it enough times so the media know they can get traction with this and will keep pushing it until something else comes up.

I’m pretty disgusted with the club and some of the subservient pish they’ve come out with over the last week to be honest.

If we win today, the Kettlewell debacle will very quickly be old news, but the former won’t happen.

It won’t happen of course but if we did then it would be one massive GIRFUY to Kettlewell and his pals in the media and all the more so against their favourite team.

An Australian who is never fit. Academy players,!!!!! Yes that's a real merry go round of talent, not.

Eh? Read what was posted and not just look at the words?

Paying a relative hefty fee for the Australian and developing academy prospects goes against your “They have instigated a plan which is to bring in players from the depths of English football. Not once have they looked at the top 4 teams in the Scottish Championship.”

Feeling similar: the failure of the club to defend the vast majority of decent of our support has left me wondering if they're the kind of people who should be running our club and I'm not sure either that they can make the correct decision on the next manager. The media pile-on should have been challenged from the start and their ignoring of the Thelin abuse  just shows what a hypocritical bunch our football churnalists are.

Ketttlewell's bacon roll and "holding court" style press conferences have certainly paid dividends.

The media pile on was caused by the club in the first place with their poorly worded statement last Monday which basically threw the entire fanbase under the bus. After that they couldn’t challenge anything with any credibility so the next best thing would be to either retract it or just keep quiet about it but sadly no, we had the WS, Caldwell, SO’D and now Frail fuelling the fire with more of the same and now here we are.

The Well Society’s input in particular was a fucking disgrace and it will be interesting to see if the Well Bois do anything today in terms of displays in support of Kettlewell.

But the Aberdeen boss hasn't resigned....if he did and cited " abuse" , I'm pretty sure it would be a big story

Except if he did resign and tried to pull the same stunt that Kettlewell has then firstly their club wouldn’t put out the statement that we put out and secondly the media certainly wouldn’t pile on them the way they have done with us. If anything he would be vilified for trying to deflect his failures onto the Aberdeen support.

Dont agree that Aberdeen get better treatment from media than us...we can get a bit paranoid re the Glasgow twins but not so much Aberdeen.

FFS I've now agreed with MJC three times in row, but his comment is about  Motherwell FC issuing a statement saying the fans hounding out the manager, giving the media the ecuse
