Is there a link to where they "hammered all the supporters"?

I think the poster on twitter was referencing the fact that the statement from the club didn't differentiate between a small minority and where they were located and "the fans" as a whole so in effect tarring us all with the same brush. That is my take on it.

It's irrelevant how much you are being paid if you are employed to look after the saftey of the paying public you should do your job what ever that remit is.

From what I've seen the stewards at Fir park are not interested they don't give a shit and I would hate to see how they respond if a genuine emergency occurred.

I gave up stewarding because I was battered at a Celtic Man City game - because when people are fighting and you have your SIA badge you have to try and break up fights.. Had similar issues at Celtic Park when fans were fighting themselves.

There are good and bad stewards I'm sure but I don't think every steward at Fir Park doesn't give a shit - I certainly did the job to the best of my abilities when I worked at Fir Park and every other ground

It is a hard job on a lot of levels -and when I did it we had to do time before and after the shift unpaid too - thankfully I think that's changed now.

Just as an add on , I know someone who did it and they were bussed from Glasgow to Edinburgh for a gig ... unpaid

Some companies pay staff travel time - the ones I worked for didn't. I've worked at gigs in Inverness where you got driven up and driven back down after the gig (some scary moments because the driver was very tired) - and then dumped back in the city centre at 4am to make your way home. Thankfully some kind folk who lived in Lanarkshire would drop me off. Or it wouldn't have been worth it obviously. You'd spend more on your taxi home than your wages.

One day I was put on the turnstiles at Fir Park because they were short staffed and my brother came through the turnstile (he was like wtf are you doing here) 🤣

It's also hard standing with your back to the crowd when Motherwell score and you can't celebrate it. 🤣

Was at a physio appt today and in between the sadistic sod torturing me, we did discuss the SK situation.

When I talked about the irony of the abuse allegations given SK's interactions with match officials he said that was nothing new, when he was a physio with a youth team, they played Motherwell and Ketts was constantly berating the officials.

Said his behaviour was completely unacceptable.

Unsurprising. Let’s hope he’s learned his lesson for the sake of his future career.

I couldn't care to be honest,  no excuse for the clowns shouting at him but I think he has taken us for a ride, just my opinion.  Wonder how the families of the 4th officials felt when SK was abusing them

Do you think Kettlewell getting upset at the officials was comparable to some of the abuse that he took from the minority of our support? - there are folk on this board who have said that he was no different in the dugout to last season when he wasn't carded

Im personally not happy at the way the club hung us out to dry over this but I think it's been done to death at this point

I seriously can no longer be arsed with any of it.

Same here, bored with it but I have also constantly condemned the clowns that were shouting abuse at him

I know you have - but there's been a big he deserved it energy all over the place - particularly on Facebook

And there have been a couple of people who spoke out on there saying he was sorely abused

Him getting upset and getting sent to the stand isn't the same thing as folk screaming abuse at him for 90 plus minutes in my view

There was someone on twitter who said they gave up their season ticket because of a family who screamed constant abuse at him - some folk are saying that didn't happen at all - that's my issue

I don't go to the celtic games so can't comment but I wouldn't want to be telling them to sit down etc for minimum wage...don't think it's the stewards at fault , its more cost cutting and having less police at games who have far greater powers....even the police struggle with every move being filmed by some clowns.

I was talking to a Celtic fan and here's why it happens.
The green brigade arrive on mass and all sit together irrespective of seat numbers.
Some then like to sit beside them, some the polar opposite.
This leads to absolutely no one sitting in their correct seats and the problem that we see.
Really up to Celtic board to sort that out - but I doubt we will see that anytime soon

Old news. We move on now.   Lost all respect for him.  Not denying there was unnecessary abuse at him but he definitely orchestrated that move and blamed it all on the support

Yip deffo even his pals in the media now seem to realise heez left us with a pile of dross.  No doubt we will  get “ his version “ IF we get enough points to stay up  just a self centred ego bustin prick      In my opinion 👍
