Meant to say - was great to see frail making a dignified exit earlier. Class act - Quite a contrast from his former companion

Yup, Frail didn't need to do any of that today.  Total respect plus his statement to club and fans was excellent.  Welcome back anytime Stevie

There's a few things which are incongruent in the whole piece.

He talks at length about instances of abuse and his family hearing them, but says he hadn't even thought about resigning before the St Johnstone game, which he goes on to say his family weren't even at.

Sounds a bit rage-quitty tbh

I think despite him previously saying he'll never listen to fans etc, she'sclearly had clearly his ego dented.

I think there are times for a dignified silence.

There was a long slow demise where it looked like the job got to him .

From the cup semi onwards a similar decline to the previous season .

personal view is he was overworked and would benefit from having balance .

CEO applauded him for being in the office from 7am to 8pm - I don’t see this as a plaudit - the guy came across more and more stressed as the weeks went on . Working all hours isn’t good for anyone .

wish him all the best but tired of listening to his rhetoric .

I watched it for 30 seconds and turned it off, classic i was the victim stuff trying to salvage his reputation and the alleged interviewer pandering to him making it worse.

Tbf it's the sun so there was no chance he was going to be asked any hard questions ie did you think you could turn the slump in form round etc.

Kettlewell will be judged on his next job in management if any what will the papers say when he walks or gets punted from his next gig. Time to bin this thread he's history.

Im a really good guy with principles, it wasn’t my fault, im using my family as an excuse , i never got fired , im here if anyone wants me .

Remember we stuck by you in your absolute shite 15 game winless run , ya light weight . You ran out of ideas and took the chance to jump ship.

Thank fuk i wont need to listen to your bag of hot air interviews again.

ps. Are we allowed to shout at you if you come back as opposition manager.

Classless comments from SK and cynical timing from the Sun. Was it recorded last week? The club will be most unimpressed. I had thought that, irrespective of his contract conditions, the club might have paid him a little sweetener, in view of the"trauma he suffered". However, I think he has more or less confirmed by his tone that he received nothing. His comments won't impress any prospective employers in the Scottish game. That said I think other clubs will already know him.

In contrast Stevie Frail behaved impeccably. Good luck to him.

I had always stuck up for SK even throughout his disastrous run of games last season and most of this season but for him to bring this out in the sun on the day we appoint a new manager is really poor form, especially when he’s had almost a month to make a proper statement.

This is one big FO to the fans really.

Really poor interview from Kettlewell. Lost a lot of respect for him after that. Really buddy journo piece trying to get his side of the story out and big him up on the day our new manager is announced is pretty classless. He could have been remembered as a fairly decent Motherwell manager who ran his course and fell on his own sword. But he has burned his bridges there with that piece.

Final point regarding all of this.  He still can't grasp that the club and fans stood by him after that horrendous run last year, any other club would have punted him there and then.

Plus why mention that a few folk have had to leave the club? Who we talking about Stuart?  Alexander only one I can think of and yes some of the abuse he got was totally unacceptable.

As for The Sun, I hope Caldwell is on the phone to them today but then again should just be dealing with Michael W and helping him settle in.

Last I am discussing SK.  bring on the Wimmer revolution
