Amazing what a manager with a clue can do isn't it.

He’s going to be the difference between relegation and staying in the league. This group that it was suggested could not stay up under any manager are proving otherwise. Again you clearly can polish a turd.

I would give young Aitchison a chance

Just noticed he was absent from the bench today, I wonder if he is injured or simply wasn't selected. Mandron and Efford should be back for the Rangers game in two weeks.

Anyway FT great win.

I think Mandron was intended to be the main partner for Kev, but of course we pulled our usual trick of injuring him in training.

Great result though on a day when it was the result that counted.

While I wouldn't say the breaks with VAR we got were lucky, it always feels that when you start playing better those also fall into place.

We're not really better going forward than we were under Hammell.

Butcher and Casey have been the big difference.

This is the key factor. We are unbeaten in four because we have stopped giving away so many cheap and avoidable goals. Having two competent defenders really does make a difference.

The big difference we don't try and play out from the back Under Hammel it was side to side pish making no progress into dangerous positions. You need a really good midfield to play like that. We clear our lines and don't piss about at the back. We play to our strengths and sure it's not pretty but we can grind out results and that's what matters right now.

Hammel brought them in tbf , think hammel is a victim of timing but it wasn't meant to be and SK is benefitting , credit to him , he's getting a tune out of guys who wouldn't do it for hammel

Aye we will be looking for an upgrade in midfield as the priority in the summer.

Does anyone know how long Butcher and Casey are signed for?

Yup I agree ...let's get cushion at bottom increased first before we start looking at possible top 6

Probably just not enough games left to have a real chance of getting in top 6. Especially when 2 out of the 5 are against  the OF.

Great result, fantastic run under Ketterwell, first half wasn’t great but job done in the end, spoke to one of the players yesterday says guys are really buying into what Ketterwell is trying to do,  identified right away we have no real wingers, looking to get Butcher into midfield but needs a fully fit partner for Casey, hopefully big Bevis fitness improves and he can start this will break up Goss, Slattery and Spittal.

Excellent win.

The projection is 1 more win for safety but let's aim for 40 points at least.

I’d still be nervous if we stick on 33 points. Any points from OF would be a bonus but the must win game left before the split is versus Dundee Utd. Hopefully take some points from Livi and Hibs as well
