Orinoco
Got what we deserved. Yet again our captain sets the tone for our performance. The guy is ment to be an experienced goalkeeper, training with international coaches and goalies, yet cannot command his six yard box. Shameful performance. To get beat is one thing, but to be out battled is another.

Two years on the trot being knocked out by Championship sides at this stage of the Scottish Cup. It’s just not good enough. Was a reply to wonder how they’ll get on in the next round whoever they get will pump them ( which shows the level we’re at )

sinjy
I have supported Motherwell for 60 plus years When I was 9 we went to Ibrox and won 5-2 then lost 1-0 at home to Airdrie I should have realised then that it was not worth it. All the hype after the Ross Co game, you just knew we would be let down.

Benson
Not a shock,it was always a going to be difficult, we didn't perform and weren't good enough, result against county papered over the cracks,we are where we are,the league position doesn't lie,we are poor,we're out and league survival is our objective, close season we need big decisions on our future, ambition, finance as a club. Ya Bezzer!
Only sliver of hope was Adam Devine Terrible in every area of the pitch. Players didn't even have a touch most of the time. No intensity either. No physical or mental toughness. Why we insisted on playing long balls against a team that won every physical contest I'm not sure.
Richie
Absolute embarrassment. Second to every ball, outmuscled, panicking and hitting it high/long. Zero composure. Made it easy for them.

Didn't get to grips with the physical side of the game, so just park it and move onto the league. No doubt the sack the manager guys will be on all night, but in reality, do they ever go away. Its Motherwell, we move on. Two mistakes? There wasn’t a success in that entire team or performance tonight. It’s all well and good saying “move onto the league” but the Cup gives us our only opportunity of potentially achieving something in the game. Or at the very least giving the club and the support something of a lift and a reason to look forward. But yet again we fail miserably early on in the competition against a lower league side for the second year running. Its not acceptable. Mortonhallwell
Kelly should have been dropped weeks ago. If he doesn't get dropped after tonight's performance Kettlewell should hang his head in shame.

MelvinBragg
It was the worst kind of setup for us. They were happy to sit deep. Clearly they've watched us and plan A, B and C has been to play the ball behind the opposition defence for Bair to use his pace. Leave no space behind and we don't have anyone to unlock a defence. Maybe a winger who could go past a man would have been useful in this situation? Even at that, the greater concern would be how simple long balls in the air were causing so many problems.. A bad night at the office...

mio
I’d take that Oakley all day long instead of certain strikers we have. Completely outfought and out muscled our defence all night. Embarrassing
robsterwood
Morton first to every ball. Quite a dirty team too. Devine should start next game and Kelly dropped.

Stuwell2
Didn’t see the game but let me guess poor defending, Kelly pish, midfield getting nothing and their passing was awful, Bair finishing was pish. How many did I get right?
2plus8
Probably already said on this thread. But we didn’t win the battle before we could get the ball down and play. We played their game rather than impose our own footballing style. Yes, I’d absolutely drop Kelly but I can’t help feel sorry for SK tonight. The players didn’t turn up for him or the large amount of travelling fans

It’s just so infuriatingly predictable.
