A lot of noise tonight about Lennon Miller moving to Celtic for £5.3m + add ons and being loaned back to us for the season.

that type of money can’t be sniffed at but I’d hate to see him go there. Turnbull is a good example of why not to go there too.

As long as we get him back for the second half of this season, and we attach a significant sell-on clause, I can’t see the Club refusing £5.3m. That said, the player may have options elsewhere, and that news has been leaked by his agent to (a) start the bidding war and (b) highlight him to other potentially interested parties. The world is at his feet.

Please no, would rather see him.go abroad and especially not to that mob where he wouldn't get game time.

Story here. Read it with a pinch of salt.

Usual sellik signing policy, sign someone with a connection as his first name same as a former manager.   At same time probably why rangers would never sign him as fans couldn't accept cheering on someone called Lennon.

Yes in case you have noticed I despise both teams although have a lot of good friends who support them

We all know he will go eventually he's probably the number 1 saleable asset in Scottish football at the moment. £5.3 million is a lot of cash for Motherwell but for me, selling your best players to a rival team in the league is never a good idea, especially the green uglies, career wise that would be a bad move for him.

When he goes I would rather it was to England or Abroad plus we would probably get more cash if that was the case

Yeah I’d love to see him head off to Spain Germany or Italy, I think he’s more suited to that style.

they seem to see him as a replacement for Hatate who will be off at the end of the season. But I don’t see them as similar players at all.

i just hope it is talk and a prompt for teams outwith Scotland to make a move. It would be a waste seeing him go to Celtic. At least we know rangers can’t afford him.

The Rangers can’t afford him, but Celtic can. I hope he goes to neither.

And my final point would be if sellik...

No sell on percentage as he won't go for a top price as he will get limited game time then move for lower fee.....like turnbull did.   Not being negative or doubting young lennon ability, just realistic.....you have hatate...engels...mcgregor...Bernardo...mccowan all competing and of course all of those players worth £20 million each!!

£5.3m is a good starting point as others will be interested and I don’t see him staying in Scotland.
The biggest concern is when he goes as if he stays until the end of the season - or is loaned back if sold at the next window - top six is a distinct possibility with top 4 within our grasp if others play to their potential but losing him in January would dent that.

Also another one saying deal done and dusted to Bolognia for £8.4 million. The reality is it's probably all pish.

Now that would be a rumour I hope is true.  Obviously not wanting Lennon to leave but that money would be immense for us.  Kettlewell could sign 3 x £2 million strikers and just pump high balls to them!! 🤪🤪🤪

Would be great if true, but I get the feeling that someone read Faddy's interview where he says he'd like to see Miller move abroad like Lewis Ferguson and decide "He's definitely going to Bologna".

Every chance.

However, Bologna's old manager is now at Juventus and there was talk of him taking Ferguson there befor he got injured.

If Ferguson has a strong finish to the season, Bologna might be in the market for a new midfielder.

Be a far better move for Lennon imho.

100% agree. I think Turnbull missed a trick by not moving abroad, and hope the recent success of other Scottish and English players moving to Italy might influence his next move.

Max Johnston's career is developing pretty well too. I see he has quite a few starts this season in the league and in the Champions League.
