Cameron_Mcd
33, 29 and 34 league games he's played across the previous 3 seasons. He currently has a hamstring injury but it apparently isn't any more serious than a few weeks out.

Fair chance. It was alluded to a few weeks ago that we were in the market for a defensive mid. He was one of the names suggested. Think he is more of a utility player than an out and out defefensive mid, so no idea if he is what we are looking for or not. Cant say Ive ever paid him much attention. Possibly looking for a move closer to home in that case.

witchfindergeneral
McGhee is a solid player at our level. Has covered nearly every position and scores plenty of goals.
Spit_It_Out
I am 100 percent behind us signing more utility players I think it's was Jim Goodwin was talking about this and it's served his team very very well so I hope we follow suit. As its stands we badly need a physical defensive midfielder and a hulking target man, if we want to stick to Ketts' plan but make it more effective.
weeyin
The last thing we need is a hulking target man. That is a recipe for 90 minutes of long punts from defence to "attack".
Orinoco
Defensive midfield player would be my priority, as we have needed a decent one for a while now.

Id be ok with going long if it didnt keep coming straight back again.

Nothing wrong playing long balls all the time if they are accurate. At best most are 40/60 on our guy getting the ball. First option should be a ball in behind the defence for player to run onto. If not on then can we play it to feet of someone forward or at least to where they can control it with their chest or other body part. Most of our long balls are either straight to opposition, way too long or way to high or out the park

We have certainly been less effective in an attacking sense without Miller pulling the strings.
Orinoco
From p@b we seem to have a goalkeeper problem. Ox injured and Hegyi recalled. Talk of Connelly being recalled and the signing of Archie Mair.

mfc
That would sum our luck up,hegyi getting recalled just as the the ox gets an injury.
