……..maybe Mr Wimmer could facilitate  a suitable German destination where he can play regularly and develop further.

How about one where he gets sent back here for another season to develop further under MW and his assistant?
If they’re rated as coaches by some teams in Germany and LM feels he would progress here under them then why not?

Certainly, if it were possible,  because if he were to go to Celtic I think he would be a bench warmer for a while  and I don't think David Turnbull's experience at CP was beneficial for his development.

With no game this week, The Rancid are just turning out daily stories about Miller going to Celtic

For me, that would just show a lack of ambition when there are so many great opportunities out there.

And even though I know it's all clickbait to sucker in the OF fans, it's still annoying that they think that's the best he can do.

Remember Caldwell said that the performance data shows Miller is the 8th best youngster in the world?

Do you think the 7th or 9th best are phoning Celtic for a transfer?

I'll be shocked, but in a pleasant way, if we reap anything like £10 m for young Miller. I think someone is at it, but not sure who. Still an auction can only benefit us and the lad himself. The more top class names mentioned the better. More choice for the lad and more cash for him and us.

I do think the 10m chat is a bit off, however, anything north of 4m would be a good bit of business and as you say, who knows where a bidding war could take us.

LM is clearly in demand and good on him!!!!!!

10 million likely too high, but 4 million is defintely too low.

£10 million for big European clubs English premiership or championship teams is small change, but it depends on what serious offers the club gets, so £10 million might be achievable plus add ons etc.

True about add-ons. I was thinking more about initial fees.

I agree 10 million is nothing to EPL clubs, but given that Mika left Arsenal for 4 million there can be quite a of variation in valuations.

I wouldn't say it's that crazy an amount for some like him. Others are being touted for similar prices.

I don't think he will go for ten million. That's crazy money. The fact is historically is that Motherwell have sold players for less than they are worth because we've had to but what might make a difference is that he hopefully won't be going to Rangers or Celtic. Im not sure he's worth 10 million tbh. He's an exceptional talent but if we do get that sum for him then of course Motherwell won't knock it back.

He’s not a 10 million pound player just now but a team with plenty money might be willing to invest 10 million on his future.

Not sure about Max as he was out of contract when he left us

He was, but as he was young academy product and under 21 it meant, if the clubs were agreeable, we could make that kind of deal I believe. Else, they would use the dreaded formula to give us a development fee.

Or I could be a mile oot.
