My point still stands that they're clowns and never have the interests of fans in their thoughts when scheduling midweek fixtures. Unless you are rangers and Celtic.
Ya Bezzer!
I can't remember us playing Montrose in my time. Might be a memory issue though! OK - I checked. We've only played Montrose 8 times in our history and the last time was 1971/72.
Kmcalpin
As mentioned on P&B it's a good draw from a football perspective starting with possibly our easiest game. Not so good from a fans' view as it is midweek. I've been lucky enough to visit Links Park once in 1968-69 and intend to visit it again in July. I really hope as many of our supporters can do so too, as I know many are desperate to make the journey.

The folk running our game continue to be useless fucking clowns who laugh at us fans. As somebody pointed out on P&B, "It would be actually quite hard, since one team sits out each match day. Add in that they play at new Douglas car park and the knock on effects that they would have to redo a significant part of the fixtures". I seem to recall a game at Fir park and we were behind with about 15 mins to go and then scored 4 goals. I know Joe scored at least one but I think 3 ? Thats exactly what happened in 1969. If I recall rightly, Montrose were leading 1-0 and Joe was moved forward and bagged a hat trick. I think Chemical Tom scored the other?

I've never seen anyone that could time a tackle better than him. And they were often full blooded crunching tackles. I've lost count of the number of times he'd go sliding in to an opposition player and come away with the ball to either start bombing up the left wing or hit his favourite curling pass up the touchline to a wide player. Tamwell
Does anyone know how ticketing is working for the home games if you’ve opted for a digital season ticket? I take it we’ll have the season tickets sent out to us before the Edinburgh City game?

Only if you are a new ticket holder or have changed category, otherwise you will just continue to use the previous card you were issued with. That's what I thought as well when I renewed my ST with no changes etc, I then got an email advising my new card was ready for collection and the existing one was no longer valid. Sorry mate I forgot we offered a new "digital" option. Yeah no idea how that will work.
