The difference between last year and this year is that we’ve had a lot of our recruitment done early this year, meaning we should be absolutely strolling through our group with no excuses. Add to that, that their keeper went off injured last night after colliding with a goalpost. Our problem will be midfield where despite having numbers on paper, many are injured. I like the club to be reasonably open with the fans over injuries but are we being too open here? IS SK playing mindgames with Thistle? Not unless one or two injuried parties miraculously recover before Sunday. They must be "reasonably" serious ( we all know about Slattery and Koutroumbis) ie not trivial knocks if the players are announced as being out 6 days before kick off. I can never understand looking ahead to who we might get when you consider the range of utter dross that has put us out of cup competitions over the last 50 years. There is no such thing as banker watching us. As Morton showed last season and many other teams beside. Spiderpig Posted July 27 Report Share Posted July 27 Well given today's results even if we win tomorrow we won't be seeded, it looks like Dundee, Aberdeen and Ross County will join the 5 European teams as the 8 seeded teams.
