SteelmaninOZ
Jam Tarts at Fir Park back to the bread and butter league, on a Sunday.
MJC
0-3 Hearts as they get their first win in eight. But to be honest if somebody had offered before todays game that we get past Kilmarnock in the League Cup then get pumped off Hearts I would have gladly accepted it.
ropy
Another team playing after a European adventure, hopefully they have a torrid time on Thursday and make 9 changes for Sunday.
Mootherwell86
3-0 Motherwell as we pick up our first win of the season.
texanwellfan
Hopefully we can get 3 points. We definitely need to start winning games.
wellfan
The game is on Sunday 25th August, not Saturday 24th, and I think this one will likely be a boring draw. Probably 1-1.

Not if they play like they played against Falkirk , they were shite.
pretzel
It would be most welcome to get our first league win of the season, I thought Hearts looked decent enough against Rangers on the opening day but they were brutal against Dundee conceding three in the first half and they were worse facing Falkirk at the weekend so we should be going into this game with no fear. They rotated their team quite considerably against Falkirk and regular starters like Clark, Shankland, Grant, Kent, Devlin and McKay didn’t start the game. That won’t be the case against us. And then there’s the ongoing issue with us and our ineffective attacking play which has seen us play now three competitive games and fail to score a goal by any of players in 90 minutes. We’re getting nothing on Sunday.
joewarkfanclub
Hearts have signed a lot of good players, so you would expect that, even with squad rotation, they would have started the season more impressively. Given our injury woes, you would have thought it would be a stick on win for them. Now Im not so sure. It will be interesting to see how they get on midweek and how much that takes out of them. MFCL84
I think that the first goal will be crucial in this one. If Motherwell go behind I can't see us being able to claw back a Hearts team that will get a boost from going ahead and be able to sit on the lead and pick Motherwell off as we'd have to chase the game. We need to get the first goal to give us something to hang on to or build on. Our chances of getting the first goal are hugely influenced by how SK sets the team out. Another negative, defensive first half is likely to see us behind at the interval with the game probably lost. We need to be getting at Hearts and pushing for the first goal. weeyin
Regardless of how well/poor Hearts and ourselves are playing we normally match up well against; especially at home. I imagine this will be another close game, but think we might edge it by a goal.

joewarkfanclub
Also unsure as to why Hearts wont rotate their squad for us. Our game with them is sandwiched right between both their Europa League qualifiers. If they get a decent result midweek, they will surely be resting players for the return, with the amount of money thats on offer for reaching the geoup stages? steelboy
Strangely the game on Sunday is bigger for Hearts than the Euro tie. There's not much difference financially between the Europa and the Conference and they could possibly make more in the Conference by winning a few games whereas they will get hammered every match in the Europa. Naismith needs a league win far more than the Europa group stage. We also badly need a league win but with our fanbase Kettlewell will probably be able to dine out on a extra time win against Killie reserves for months so there's less pressure on him. Expect another Halliday and O'Donnell masterclass.

Expect another Halliday and O'Donnell masterclass. A tad unfair. 13 of their players who were fielded yesterday played in their Euro ties. Not quite reserves. Even if they weren't at full strength, were we? By my count we had 7 players, who might reasonably be expected to feature, out injured. The selections were what they were. Derek McInnes could reasonably say that his team was beaten by a half strength Motherwell team.

Throughthelaces
I hope we win but unfortunately I’m on holidays this week so I’ll be unable to watch the match. But hope for 3 points
Mad Dog
Blair Spittal to keep Mr O.G. top of our goalscoring chart and win the game for us.
