All is not well in Section E. Anyone have any details what the gripe is. From what I can see E Block think the Club just want to ban guys for no reason. that cant be right surely?

What’s that all about? Haven’t heard anything.

Ahh ‘Block E’ the ‘Well Bois’. It’s never, ever their fault. They’re just normal match going fans who like a singsong and creating atmosphere.

It’s not as if they’ve got any previous for throwing stuff, pyro, confrontation with police and stewards and jumping on the park or anything. No reason whatsoever for their card to be marked so they’re clearly being victimised.

Seriously, why can’t they just go to games, support the club/team without acting like arseholes? Then when they inevitably attract attention for their behaviour they start with the ‘grievances’ and feet stamping tantrums. The rest of the support seem to manage it no bother and funnily enough they don’t get banning letters and stewards giving them attention.

Tragic.

This again shows that Caldwell is either bullshitting or clueless when he talks about growing the support.

Our support grows when teenagers getting into the habit of coming to Fir Park but Caldwell and Bob Park seem to want to make that as difficult as possible. Maybe they were so desperate for Barmack to take over so he could help them with decision making.

No disputing that but at the same time it helps if they behave themselves when they do come to Fir Park or whatever away ground.

I seriously doubt that the club are simply handing out stadium bans for nothing.

So are you going to share the reasons for the bans and discuss the evidence for and against?

Or are you just going to make claims based on no facts?

I'm open minded and happy to listen to both sides of the argument, but so far have not seen anything of substance from either party.

I'm guessing Caldwell has more to go on than you, but look forward to hearing  the facts you have gathered so far.

I sit not far from Block E and I haven't seen any disturbances so whatever it is was must have taken place outside the stadium.

At the Q&A Caldwell and a few other Helen Lovejoy types were talking about Fir Park - by which they obviously meant the East Stand - as if was the Bronx in the 1980s. It was utter nonsense from people who have almost certainly never sat in the East Stand during a game.

Also banned from Club100 because of their shenanigans after the Partick Thistle game and "Drumgate"

I love the atmosphere they bring but there is an unsavoury element(admittedly tiny)within them that really needs sorted out

This is new to me, I have not heard a thing  from either side, so have no clue what it’s about.

Have you been to any away games?

And you were obviously never in the Bronx in the 80s

There were some Motherwell fans who said they were targeted by police - subjected to dawn raids around Christmas 2022 and the statement that went out at that time I believe said that this happened with the support of the club. Facilitated in association with Motherwell fc is what the statement said.

I'm sure I saw tweets saying some fans were arrested - but that's all I saw around that time.

Yes i think that’s pretty accurate. If I remember correctly those incidents were the basis for the ‘protest’ that group had in the March ‘23 game against Rangers at Fir Park. The day before that game they put out a long winded, Green Brigade-esq statement/sermon crying about heavy handed policing and asking other fans to join in with them in boycotting the first ten minutes of that match.

Of course that hilariously backfired on them because we scored to go 1-0 up in the 5th minute and all the ‘protesters’ who had congregated at the top of the East Stand stairs then all came running down towards the front to celebrate the goal so their wee ‘protest’ didn’t really get past first base.

Still don’t know what they done to be arrested. Dawn raid seems a bit dramatic but as I said. I don’t know the reasons behind that.

I don't know either tbh - they didn't say much at the time but that might have been for legal reasons.

Off on a tangent. Again.

Not the same events. Similar issue, latest ‘unacceptable conduct’ signage the brainchild of our CEO so box ticked as he ‘did it at Shrewsbury’.

Having heard versions from both sides it looks like a certain club employee who’s had carte blanche has tied up our CEO in knots and they’re hiding behind their interpretation of a ‘SPFL ruling’. Nobody has been cited in a court of law nor subject to football banning order under current legislation.

Personally think the statement they should make is deliver another food bank drive as planned tomorrow and not enter the ground rather than offer posts on social media platforms. Certainly offer different opinion to those who just point, snigger and claim it’s “woah, look at me”.

At least keep to the facts. Most have been back in since with no issue.

I wasn't trying to suggest that this was the issue this time - sorry if my post looked like that. Just that there had been issues in previous times. The thing is though - I don't have a clue what the issue is. Is it to do with the use of pyro?

Some of the more sensible ones have but the ones involved with the drum incident haven't.

That's the facts.

Not that I’m aware of.

Some context would be good.

Is it anything to do with the firecrackers at Hampden?

See above. Interpretation of alleged SPFL ‘rules’ which haven’t been breached according to the legal advice of the law practice with the highest success rate in quashing football convictions - young ‘uns have met them as a group recently…

Maybe for another debate, Club can preach about ‘community’ and growing the fanbase. Many (involved and not) feel it’s lip service.
