steelboy
Took a midfielder off and immediately fell out the game. 5-1-4 doesn't work. Imagine that.

Wilson has done ok again, miller in glimpses has been ok but that’s been it. Poor performance and a deserved defeat unfortunately

steelboy
Too little too late. As usual with Kettlewell the starting line up and tactics were rank rotten. A brilliant trait for a manager.
pretzel
FT - The frustrating thing was when we went for it they looked really nervy at the back and we missed several great opportunities. Exciting end and Gordon was denied by an excellent save.
Orinoco
Apart from the odd flash, we've been very poor today. In saying that a one goal defeat is about the right result. It's time for Kettlewell to drop a few and give others a proper chance.

wellup83
We've given ourselves too much of a hill to climb. Spirited performance in the last 15 minutes but overall fell short. If that Moses left footer goes in or the Casey header sneaks in we're praising the boys resilience and never say die attitude. (Well, most of us are) We played the in form team today and ran them close and I'd have taken a point happily before ko but it wasn't too be. We move on to Friday. wellfan
Kettlewell’s blind loyalty to certain players like Robinson and playing Miller out of position for most of the game again is what cost us today. More worryingly he’s signed a shit load of players and I’m still not really sure what his approach and style is yet, other than to throw the kitchen sink at it once we’re losing. Changes in starting personnel and approach are required for Friday night or another cup exit beckons.
wellsince75
Moses has already scored more goals than Robinson is likely to should he play every minute for the rest of the season. None of strikers suit 1 up front - we need to change our approach our starting formation. We need to build upon our existing tactics of work hard/sling in set pieces. Dare say 4-3-3 may suit this current crop of players.
texanwellfan
I like SK but I do agree with many comments on here in that he needs to start with the players, tactics and formation that has been shown to work best for us in the latter part of games.
