Great result.

SK called it right in the 2nd half. Davor sadly cannot dominate in the middle and having already being booked it was sensible to take him  off because her is clumsy in the tackles. Sparrow offered us more dig and pace in the midfield.

Our quality while in possession was truly horrific in the first half , improved in the second but still the amount of unforced errors was truly awful. Had we lost today it would have been all down to us, Hibs are bang average and had it not been for our truly woeful play in possession Hibs would have been there for the taking from the 1st minute.

No doubt the SOD haters will want him crucified and his error was absolutely horrific but his error apart he wasn't too bad. Tony Watt gave us some much needed guile and Moses really rumbled them up. OX was terrific. What a goal from our Australian friend.

A good £42 win on Skybet for our win too.

Brilliant 3 points today . I am delighted with the start to the season and also think Oxborough is a better keeper than Liam Kelly

No shit Sherlock 😉

At half Time I thought we’d be lucky to get out with a 0-0 draw but aside from the 1 major error we were much better the second half with the subs making a difference. Nice to see us score from a well worked set piece. Ox is a revelation in goals and Balmer’s throw ins are as good as corner kicks. Sparrow is coming along nicely and Watt helps us retain possession. All in all things are looking pretty promising. Well done tI the management team and players, long may it continue.

Highlights were pleasing, I like Ox's bravery but luckily miller was there to bail out his error.

I'm a big fan of defending your line and/or marking a post.

There was a stone wall penalty for us . The Hibs guy had a handful of shirt in the box just enough to let the keeper get the ball first. Never even highlighted it on Sportscene

Honestly? I’ll you and your ilk denigrate another thread.

Some of us will rejoice in our 6th win in 7.

Not sure but it may have been an offside call ?

Very obvious I'd have thought and no VAR check. Poor officiating.

I wasn't at the game but watched the highlights. A good, but close, win at a difficult venue.

What a finish from from Ap Stam from a very tight angle. I'm sure there's more to come from him. Disappointing to lose an avoidable goal so quickly through SOD'S dithering on the ball.

What a throw from Balmer to set up a classy volleyed finish from Halliday.

The Kettle is still boiling!

Please offer Ox new terms and on a longer deal the guy is so good that performance today some of those saves were top drawer.

And I got to witness one of the things I wanted to see  this season a Balmer bullet into the box and a goal!Magical.

Good stuff hope it continues after the international break.

Thought we were poor in possession first half. Robinson was totally anonymous. I get that he and Stama were isolated but at least Stama was holding the ball up and trying to bring others into play. Robinson seems to take so long to get the ball under control and out of his feet that any chance that comes his way is gone. Id like to have some patience with him, but its difficult when other players come on and instantly offer more.

Out of possession I thought we looked pretty solid. On the few occasikns Hibs did open is up Big Ox was immense. He seems to be growing in confidence and totally bossed his area. Quite refreshing!

Second half was much better. I really like Sparrow. He gives us much more drive and athleticism in midfield. I feel like he has earned his chance to start as he offers something differen to Halliday and Davor. One of them has to go.

The biggest difference though was when Watt and Ebiye came on. They offered more in their first 5 mins than Robinson did all game and for me both of them and Stama have to now be ahead of Robinson. Watt in particular is starting to look a lot fitter. Hopefully the staff will work him hard during the break and get him ready to start.

Pleased for Stama to get his goal. He played well and deserved it. Wise of SK to take him off though and protect him when he is just back from injury. We dont want to risk him breaking down again.

Overall, a great 3 points. Not sure we totally deserved it, but we took our chances and our keeper and defence did the rest.

As always, there was plenty to pick holes in if you choose. McGinn and SODs both gave the ball away needlessly at times. SOD paid the penalty for his mistake. But they both otherwise had decent games. Particularly McGinn whose passing was incisive in the second half at least.

Much for SK to mull over during the break. Not too many opportunities to tweak things prior to the semi final. He needs to get team selection right for that as its now looking like an eminently winnable game.

Trying to work out whats going on here. So looking up thread it would suggest that folks have got arrested. "If" its our lads, then that should be included here. Whether or not its the well bius, block E or even the old guard. Your response however looks like you are doing a sweep under the carpet job.

If its not our lads then fair enough & if you would just stop the riddles & come out & say it has nothing to do with them, then it all stops.
