As has already been said, one of two scenarios are more likely than not to happen today and they both begin with an S.

1) Sickened

As we were on both occasions we played Celtic at home last season in that we hang in there and lose late on.

or;

2) Skullfucked

A defeat by four or more goals which if we concede inside the first ten minutes is a distinct possibility.

Either way it won’t be pleasant viewing.

I’m going for the second scenario and a 0-5 defeat.

As SK said, you can "have a go" at different points in the game, but if try that for 90 minutes they have players that will destroy you given too much space.

I get that. However, our problem is that our midfield, even with the likes of Nicholson, Paton, Slattery etc is simply not set  up to,  or capable of, screening the defence.  That immediately puts the likes of Wilson, Gordon and the Ox under pressure. We badly need an Ally Mauchlen, Stewart McLaren, Colin O'Neil, or Steve Jennings to stick their chin out, get in their faces and make tackles  40 or 50 yards out.

It all depends on how Celtic play. For us to get anything from the game, we need to be on our game while Celtic are off theirs. It's that simple..

Even that isn't enough. We also require an impartial referee.

David Dickinson is the referee today with Alan Muir on VAR.

I don't believe any match official is deliberately biased but you do get some who are very easily swayed by St.Brendan putting his hand up at every 50/50 challenge and Callum McGregor getting in their face trying to referee the game for him.

I don't envy the match officials in games involving Celtic to be honest as they know that if they give decisions that don't suit Celtic then they will be scrutinised and harassed for weeks on end.

So I don't think it's a case of requiring an impartial referee it's more a case of requiring a strong one.

Mcgregor not even on bench. Hopefully Kaleta can keep Maeda on back foot but we shall see

Seen the bug eyed prick kicking about as well. Least we avoid the frustration of seeing him bossing about our pitch after his Scotland performances.

I'd take winning 0-0 the now.

It may be stating the obvious, but we are gonna have to do a whole let better than we did on Saturday if we are going to avoid a hammering.

I see Stama was confirmed as a stomach bug on Saturday, so hopefully that will have passed and he will be fit to start.

If he is we really need to leave him up by himself and put an extra player in midfield.

Either Sparrow if he is fit, or Maswanhise to give us an out ball when we eventually do win it back.

If we go the same again as Saturday it will just be wave after wave of Celtic attack and the inevitable 3 or 4 nil.

SK has already said there isnt going to be a kneejerk reaction to Saturday so he isnt going to make wholesale changes (its just not his way), so the best I think we can hope for is

                               Ox

            Balmer Gordon Casey

SOD                                          Wilson

                        Davor

      Halliday   Miller   Sparrow /TJ

                        Stama

Good to see SK reads the board 😆

Super impressed that he is going for it by playing Marvin and moving SOD in one.

That will give us more of a threat going forward and he should have the legs to deal with Maeda better.

McGregor out is also a bonus.

Lets get intae thum!

Don't know about Park's part in things but if true it is pretty unprofessional.

What I would like to have confirmed is who actually pays for the repairs?  Rumour in the past was that Celtic agreed to pay if we did not go public, over charge,  or make a fuss. But that all fell apart when Burrows highlighted the extent of the damage a few seasons ago. Perhaps something our new Board will address? Even after all their Uefa fines, I'm pretty sure they can afford to

Another 'capacity' crowd in the South Stand...well done again Boab
