A nice little winter weekend away up North, for some a long drive for some.

We should have some more players to pick coming back from  Injuries/fitness.
Will the kettle pair Stama and Watt up front. With proper service from the midfield instead of hoof ball?

Will we win 2-1 and have all the usual suspects on complaining again ? Or will we lose 2-1 and have all the usual suspects on complaining again ?

You forgot to cover the draw, that will have them all complaining as well, no matter what the result is SK will be blamed for something.

And you two, also like clockwork, will continue to post in a similarly predictable way to those whose opinions you seek to deride. Keep it up, we all get a kick out of it.

Im old enough to know that we shouldnt count any chickens but if you look at the other fixtures that day, a win for us would be very handy!

Rangers will likely beat Dundee Utd

St M v Aberdeen - someone/both is dropping points

Hibs are playing away & Hearts are getting cuffed off Celtic so chances there to put more daylight between us & the danger zones

Liked by Steelboy and Yodo.

We seem to be slow starters after international breaks, often taking at least the first half to bring any pressing or tempo to our game.

Maybe sticking with Kaleta and Maswanhise in the starting lineup will inject a little more urgency from the kick-off.

We have a run of about 6 games ahead of us that are winnable if we play well, although for some them of a draw would not be a bad result. Since we have already won 2 league games in a row the chances of us achieving 8 wins in a row are slim and probably the chance of us going 8 in a row undefeated are less than 50/50. So all we can do is focus on one game at a time and we’ll see how things end up. COYW

Noticed that we've not taken league points three fixtures in a row at any point this season and we've won our last two....

Ross County have also only lost at home to Celtic and Aberdeen this season.

Although on the other hand they have only scored 1 goal from open play in their last 6 matches (plus a pen and an OG).

With 6 draws in 13 matches this season for County it might be a tight affair.

A wee early heads up

Just had a look at the Met Office 10 day forecast on You Tube.
A fair chance of snow and below freezing daytime temperatures all of next week.

That bloody idiot Kettlewell can't even organise the weather for a big game. It's not as if he didn't know this game was coming up. It's stupid mistakes like this that prove he's not going to have long left in this job. Ooot his depth !

Never mind the result. That comes secondary to us winning the possession contest, surely? Will this be the game we finally crack that 35% number and send our possession-obsessed fans into a tizzy?

Or will we do what we usually do? And win 2-1 while only getting 8 kicks at the ball team-wide?

I'll settle for 1% possession in the last minute to create a sweeping move that results in a winning goal and 3 points to take back to the Shire.

Don't forget to include the inevitable "left back switches to right back across the defence" initiated round of applause from our fans.

I don't obsess over the possession stats, and I'm OK with counterattacking tactics when they work - and they are working right now.

I also don't think it's unreasonable to enjoy watching us pass the ball around more than watching the opposition pass the ball around, so I get why people would prefer us to have better retention.
