I like Wilson but why are we benching Seddon for him he's been poor the last 2 games and his crossing is no where near the standard of Seddons would rather Seddon at LWB and Wilson on the bench

Either way is good. Wilson has been playing out of position

Here is our all-time home league record v the Hibees.

P139  W62  L44  D33

Win   45%
Lose  32%
Draw 23%

My memory may be playing tricks on me but I seem to recall far too many occasions when we’ve played a team on a (long) losing streak we always manage to lose to them.

Mainly because folk bang on about it before and after it happens, but never mention it again when we just turn up and win anyway, which is probably statistically about as often as you'd expect Motherwell to beat anyone.

Sparrow being out is a blow.

Ox

Balmer Gordon Casey

Kaleta Miller Davor Paton Seddon

Robinson Maswanhise

Why would you have Robinson starting, he's feckin brutal, Stama, Ebiye and Fat Tony are all much better options.

Robinson offers more than Stam for me, holds the ball in a lot better and has a good finish on him.

Have you watched him? He runs about like a headless chicken, never seems to be where he should be, and as for having a good finish, previous to a good season with Dundee where he got 12 goals ( presumably why we signed him)his next best return was 6.

110 appearances for 8 different clubs over 5 years, and 30 career goals in total, averaging 6 a year is stretching the definition of " Striker " a bit too far

Ye so far I agree pal, haven't seen enough to convince me yet.  If Stama gets played as an actual penalty box striker with service then i think the goals will come.

If SK starts one striker tomorrow I will genuinely think he has lost the plot

For as poor as hibs have been,we will play right into there hands if we play the long ball game upto one isolated striker, they have conceded 7 goals in there last two games, there's no excuse for a negative approach from us in this a game.
