I have no fkn clue. Watched the replay and still no clue. Perhaps some obscure rule that a ref blows for once every 20 years or something

Seems we are the only club where referees apply the obscure rules to. Can you imagine if that had gone in and fallout for being disallowed.

Halliday's free kick, I wonder if our player who ran in front of the wall got too close to them, supposed to be 1 metre away from them, thus indirect free kick.

Maybe, but again how often is that rule applied? It's about the closet anyone came to scoring, and entertainment and they want to disallow it. Sums up this game and scottish football.

I was thinking along those lines but that’s really when they are putting a wall in front of the wall to stop argy bargy but when have you ever seen that called  the ref will line thEm up like that but once the whistle goes it’s out the window

SFA rule 5417 states all Motherwell set pieces to be taken by L.Miller, if any other player takes one then the referee shall award a free kick to the opposing team.

It’s on occasions like this that show the poor standards in our top league. Yes, it’s a very windy day so that dictates a passing game with the ball on the ground BUT no team is set up to play that way. They are all set up for hoofball due to a complete dearth of skill.
