Okay, if that’s how you see it.

All I would say is that I see Europe as a little bonus for a good league season, nothing more. That season under Stuart McCall where we were finishing 2nd playing lovely stuff, gubbing Hibs on a Friday night with Faddy running the show, beating Celtic twice and Higdon banging in the goals was brilliant at the time and we got Europe as a result of that. Yet the actual European ‘experience’ was one big anti-climax as we lost 0-3 on aggregate without laying a glove on an unheard of side in Kuban Krasnador. And in that case we actually reported that we lost money rather than the opposite.

Its not good where we are ranked & we get stuffed off crap teams however i doubt theres a motherwell fan alive (including MJC) who didnt love Nancy! But that was in part due to the novelty of europe, time in the wilderness & facing a decent team within an easy travel.

Anyway, more importantly, away to the worst team in the league, take a big support & muster 1 shot on target. That is unforgivable and worse still, sadly predictable. Kettlewell & the players all need to take a hard look at themselves. The boos were clear. If Kettlewell doesnt change the approach fast, we need to change him out

Anyone who claims that us qualifying for Europe is better than us getting to the latter stages of the Cups is either lying or is more interested in the Tartan Army style jaunt abroad and swally session than the club and football itself. You look at the League Cup Semi Final and the excitement ahead of that and the crowd we took there and you could see what it meant to the support and the club. Nobody is telling me that ‘Europe’ is better than that.

Semi Finals and Finals are what it is all about supporting a so called diddy team , if not that then beating one half of the Glasgow teams is second best

I watched highlights of the 1991 tennents sixes on youtube recently and better watch than some of our Euro experiences

Seriously. You don't like the guy - that's obvious. But why on earth would you think that Casey is going to be having a go at Kettlewell just because of "rumours" on pie and bov. I like Casey but he's made enough mistakes of his own over the piece.

I don't have any more questions for you. Casey has been a bombscare at times. As have other defenders. Are you seriously trying to say that when defenders get caught out at a goal it's all on tactics. Come on. Yeah - Kettlewell has his faults - but he's not the only person at fault here - funny that the players always seem to get a free pass. Btw apparently all opinions on here are welcome - so you keep expressing yours and I'll keep expressing mine

The support that we’ve taken to the last few games at Hampden both this season and way back in 17/18 and even further back in the 10/11 season show that those games mean so much more to the core support and also the ‘potential’ support.  Getting to that stage in either of the domestic Cups just providers a general lift to everyone.

‘Europe’ on the other hand is good for the club on paper but it’s a level we can’t even make a scratch at.

But hey, it’s some experience and a lot of fun eh?

”Big leap to the right! Yaaaaasssss!!!

Big leap to the left! Yaaaasssss!!!

We’re all goin on a European tour! Yaaaaasssss”

Win draw or lose we booze! Yaaasssss!!!!”

I keep hearing about hoofball, do.you think.some of these players can play any other way?

They can't play through the middle so they're going to kick it long.

We've some good footballers but they've been out injured or are just coming back....missing Miller , Seddonand Stam now ...I think Nicholson, Masa and Slattery can play but the rest are just chasing the ball.

I don't know why you would see us getting into Europe as negative tbh. It's not all about going abroad and drinking - it's a boost for any club

Casey was horrendous today and was rightly hooked.

Casey is an old fashioned Centre Back and nothing more. Asking him to play on the right of a back three with responsibility for covering wide right and with no support from a right wing back who appears to have decided defensive duties are not for him is madness. And that is down to Kettlewell. Same applies to the left side.  Every opponent we play targets those wide areas for good reason. If Casey was having a go at Kettlewell for repeatedly sending out a formation that exposes him and others, and fails week after week, then good for him.

Quite clearly it isn't all down to Kettlewell but he sets the team up and how he expects them to play. Yes, the players also have to accept criticism for their performance too. Every game without fail we have around 30% possession. In the first half today St Johnstone had 72% possession. The ball is continually hoofed up the park in the hope that we can feed of scraps. We don't score enough goals and I think we have kept one clean sheet all season. Our last 12 games, we have won 3 lost 7 and drawn 2. Scored 13 goals and conceded 24. We are only 7 points above the playoff and the teams around us are all picking up points. We are the the ugliest football playing team in the league and that sits at Kettlewells door. If people want to watch the non football that is being served up and accept that as long  we finish at least 3rd bottom every season to stay in the Premier League then fine. Kettlewell has accomplished that.

But that's just rumour on pie and bov and that was my point. Nothing more than that. I just don't like to see someone being kicked all over the place (this isn't aimed at you). If Kettlewell goes fair enough but in two years time I can guarantee you folk will be shouting for the next person to go if they don't meet our standards

I actually don't have it in for you. I think I've responded to two of your posts. I need to get out more - you're making this personal. Not me..

Ps I would love to get out more but I shattered my leg to pieces less than a year ago and getting to fir park has been challenging enough. I don't have issues with anyone on here - it's fine to disagree surely

Because all of our " better players" are injured or have been injured , when that happens it's down to our lesser players,  which for a club like ours is pretty mediocre.

At one point today davor, sod and koutrombis were warming up in front of me...that's just 3 wasted wages imo.

The management team need to sort that out and the question needs to be asked why did we sign/ resign these guys.?
