That's nonsense, just because you are swimming against the tide doesn't mean your opinions are not welcome, it's a fan's forum not an echo chamber, be very dull if we all agreed. Forums can be a bit of a cesspit at times but I've found SO far more balanced and less confrontational than it used to be. You have made very good points and have been consistent, but if you post a view on a fan's forum you have to expect it to be challenged if someone disagrees,, but you seem to take it personally when someone challenges your views, my advice is try not to, just counter it, then just let it go. FWIW I am very much known amongst fellow fans I see at games as a 'Happy Clapper', have never barracked the team or an individual, something I hate to see happening, and I don't like to see hard working guys like SK fail, so I understand where you are coming from. However my view has now changed with the evidence on show in recent weeks, and this is only ending one way sadly.
ZT_1886
So what question would you ask him ? cause i know what i would ask if scotty is only going to ask the normal mundane shite, then he would be as well not asking anything SK gives the same answers every week just mashed up a wee bit. In-house media at any club are not going to ask openly critical questions of someone employed by the club. Thats what BBC Radio and Sky Sports should be doing post-match. Unfortunately, I've not been so reasonable these past 2 games, when I've let my frustration boil over a little at McDiarmid Park at the end of the games. Football is an emotional game and the day I couldn't care less about a result or performance is the day I'll give up attending games. I've not been as bad for many a year! That said, I never resort to swearing or abuse. Whatever I may think of SK's management of the team, he is a human being and deserves respect for his hard work and dedication. I fully accept he's trying his best. Thats not in any doubt. I really don't want the situation with the fans become toxic. That benefits no-one. Currently things are at tipping point.

Soon as he opend his mouth and had a go at the paying customers for having no clue then that was it he should have been called in for a meeting and been given the heave ho cause from that point onwards he is going to get a ton of abuse he makes out he doesnt pay attention to things well clearly thats not true. He has made a rod for his own back now if he had any sense he would call it now part ways its only going to get worse and its all ready toxic. if you are producing on the park even getting results here and there then he would have got away with it nobody is irreplacable but he is lucky to have a board that seems to think he is still doing a good and right man for the job. Personally Im fed up with SK now, the fact he got to a cup semi has papered over the fact that the entertainment on show is anything but............. Yes we have injuries but so does everyone else and the fact he has got a squad of 31 means he should cope a little better. How we (who apparently have a tiny budget that SK keeps banging on about) have managed to get a squad bigger than Celtic (30) is beyond disgusting and wasteful. Listen - I want to apologise for the way I reacted to your post. I'll also say that I will be sorry to see him go but the club has to come first - however I don't think he'll be sacked any time soon - perhaps if we lose the Ross County game he might get to the point where he feels he has to walk. Or the decision might be taken out of his hands. Things might change if we get a result at Ross County - it only takes a win or two to change things around. I don't have all the answers. There are several teams on a poor run just now. St Mirren. Killie. Aberdeen. We aren't the only team in this position - and sometimes when you need a result - you won't get one. Of course there are people who think he should have been sacked last year but he wasn't - and ultimately the decision will be down to the board or Kettlewell or both. There have been other posters on here who have said that as long as he keeps us clear of relegation his job will be safe -but like Alexander - if he does lose the fans then it won't be. Correct , I disagree with plenty folk and make an arse of myself often enough, you just take it on the chin.. the poor wee me , everybody getting at me mentality is pointless on a fans forum. I tend to put those types on ignore.

I don't think his interview was great but did I feel insulted, not at all...in general people look to be offended. What did he say ? He knows a bit more about formations tactics than joe public and he has more experience..not really up for debate. If it was directed at the fans at all...more likely to be pundits, he's got a point tbf, a lot of pundits have never tried the management gig . I don't think it was his finest hour but it's not a sacking offence.

Defo not a sacking offence, his style and tactics will ensure that. 1

wellon
I just watched the highlights, hopefully we can get casey back in, he's got faults but does seem committed. Both those goals were balls bouncing around with nobody really taking responsibility I kept an eye on second goal , player on edge of box just jogging around not doing a lot , yep,it's yer man davor. Sod again caught ball watching , thought he did ok to a degree yesterday but caught at back post too often.

Indeed, no matter what, it’s goals that count. He doesn’t have that cop out now because we are giving up goals for fun and not scoring. The fan base is rightly very worried about our form, so now we need to hear from SK regarding numbers like shots on target, possession time, formations, substitutions etc. and how he is going to fix things. He should be empathizing with the fans. He’s getting paid every game but the fans are shelling out their hard earned money to watch these subpar performances. Somebody at the club needs to take him aside and steer him away from confronting the fans and have a word about his stubborn approach to the game. From the fans side they should refrain from personal abuse of SK and keep comments to the football issues. I think that’s at least 4 goals conceded recently from corners where the opposition have scored from inside our 6 yard box. 3 against St Johnstone and 1 at Hearts. Add that to our low number of clean sheets and it’s fairly Obvious that we can’t defend very well. So options are score more goals and/or keep possession giving the opposition less time to score. I don’t think you have to be in anyone’s shoes or a seasoned professional to work that out

I'm assuming it was aimed at the fans... because if it wasn't, surely he would have clarified that? No fan expects SK to take their advice, because that would be mental. But when you have paying customers saying they're not happy about the product, you can't dismiss that. Can you imagine you bought a new iPhone and it was faulty, complained to apple and they replied with "well you've never made a phone before so....". No one would be having it. Something needs addressed and it's his job to figure it out. I hope he does but so far he's not, nor shown any signs at an attempt to. First half yesterday was an improvement from last week (not difficult tbf) but 1 up at half time and we reverted to type. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that saw an equaliser coming.
