Off to a great start versus Villa only 2 down after 6 mins

It's win-win in these games.

If Celtic get stuffed, it's hilarious because it's Celtic getting stuffed.

If Celtic win, it's hilarious, because the English media have to deal with their precious EPL teams losing to a Scottish pub side.

Then either way, we get to hear Brenda moaning about the finanical gap between the two teams.

I’m always a bit indifferent about Celtic and rangers playing in Europe, if they win or lose it’s always a bit meh….

but I do enjoy a pants down baws out humiliation and it’s looking that way so far for them tonight. Not sure it’ll make much difference to our game as wee maeda will be back, he makes the difference for them.

And sadly they have already qualified for the knockout stages, so even a hammering doesn't prevent that.

A humiliation never gets old with the ugly sisters though. I can never get enough of that.

any idea how long Carter-Vickers is out? If they are without him and they don't bring in a new St, there's a small possibility we can get a point from the game. Hopefully we get a 'new manager bounce with Frail and actually give them a game.

Celtic's finest singing abusive chants about the Royal Family tonight (whether or not you support the Royal Family is irrelevant). Will that be reported by the Scottish media and several articles written about that?

No, not a chance.

I'm sure their pro-IRA chants will have gone down well In Birmingham too.

The Scottish media will say nothing against the ugly sisters, especially the green ones in case they upset them. Likewise the SFA / SPFL will also be deaf dumb and blind to their conduct and do feck all as usual, it's Scotlands shame which has no place in modern society.

The sooner we accept that the holier than thou and zombie brigades get preferential treatment from the authorities, officials, media, etc, the sooner we can get on with it. We have to make peace with the fact that we’re pissing against the tide, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stand up for ourselves when we’re held to a different standard than others are.

I am not at game on Sunday but after the horrible week so far I am going to put this appeal out.

Can we give the team all our backing on Sunday?  I have on numerous occasions said that booing our players or slating them when they make a mistake isn't going to help them.  The 3 that seem to be main targets are SOD, Halliday and Davor.   Yes all 3 haven't been great at times but they are wearing the well jersey and should be encouraged.  A player will do a lot better if they are getting cheered rather than jeered.

Those on this forum probably agree with me but as like all sides there are bams oot there and think they can shout what they want.

I’ve watched Motherwell for 50yrs and I think this will fall on deaf ears. It has been worse a great number of times compared to now as well but obviously it’s been highlighted this week.

i just have never got the booing? The proper effort and foamy mouthed lunacy it takes to do it must be exhausting.

anyway I’m going along on Sunday and I will not be booing and I very much doubt I’ll be cheering either.

Just watched the pre match media video with SOD. In a difficult session he came across very well and down to earth. Fieded some awkward questions well.

A small positive this week.

Shout for new manager ?
