Our New Manager, who do we want?

Let's not forget the almost unique situation that we are not in a desperate situation, frantically trying to avoid relegation.

We are therefore not looking for an escape artist.

Personally I'd like to see someone with a wealth of English Div1/2 experience/contacts and a reputation for attacking football and developing younger players.

Hammell was the 'easy' choice but a gamble, and not ready.

Kettlewell was the 'easy' choice, but had failed at Ross County - which should have had alarm bells ringing.

No need to rush into this. Take your time MFC and get it right please.

I think that's a reasonable skill set on which to base our search. Certainly someone with a reputation for fielding attack minded sides would go a long way to rekindling the support's enthusiasm.

I'm seeing Chris Hughton being linked with the job that would be a really interesting one. He's been around the premeir league and championship in England for a long time and to me would be quite an exciting appointment. Lots of experience and great contacts not convinced he'd take the job tho.
