Sadly I agree and I’ve made this point on here before and been scoffed at, but the way we are being run is like a bowling club committee with people who have the best intentions at heart but just don’t have the business savvy to make things work for us.

And that is why, amongst other reasons, I firmly believe Stephen Frail will be our manager until the end of the season at least.

Heard through Bob Park a manager will be announced on Monday possibly before, however after that showing he might not even turn up.

Plenty of possession but too slow moving the ball and poor movement from the players, particularly in the last third. Team seemed to lack understanding all over the park

Another game where we make mistakes asking to be punished,

Regarding manager, Stephen McGinn said on Sportsound his understanding was it will be someone from the continent but not Ketsbaia.

There is no escaping the complete failure of the board, the society, and the CEO, who've overseen the disintegration of a once decent football team. We need an independent investigation into the entire organization and a plan to start again from scratch. This nonsense has to stop. When the dominant sound on the radio is booing that means fewer supporters at the next game, and so the decline continues.

Lost the fact we need to win on the park by everyone involved with the club. Community projects ,food banks , being good guys and the like means nothing if we don't  focus on a winning team. Complete turn around before it's too late is required pronto..

Win today and it's top five loose and it's a relegation battle . When was the last time we won a six point game.

Need a manager in quick. Hopefully a tactician with a game plan which will see us become a side that can take the game to the opponent rather than the reactive, passive guff we've been watching for too long now. I've got faith in the players and believe there's ability there but we're currently rudderless and look like a team who don't know what they're supposed to be doing.

Game - absolutely woeful. Can't be bothered saying any more.

Manager rumours - Michael O'Neill sitting in the stand. But is he not still NI manager? Probably a red herring if so.

Someone was saying that Van Gaag was in the stand as well.

Listening to the rumours in the pie queue was more exciting than watching the game.

I'm past the stage of even caring if I'm honest just scunnered watching dross every week not just Motherwell but the League in general.

Unless the new manager has a magic wand I can see us in deep shit.

I saw enough today to know that we are in real trouble . Attitude of several  players is a worry as is the lack of ability . Not sure if it’s calculated manipulation on the 3 senior players part or will full blindness on the part of management but how on earth to they continue to get a game .

No leadership in that team , no desire and no balance . Kettlewell has really done the dirty on us with his signings and calculated underhand exit

Would love that appointment for nostalgic reasons, but don't know much about his credentials tbh. Assistant at man utd for a few years so must have a bit about him.

I know I'm the same, have always dreaded relegation but today is the first time I've thought fuck it, playing in the championship can't be any worse than this.

Whoever the new manager is needs to be able to give the fans a lift as much as the players.

So today we had over 60% possession instead of our usual 30%. It didn't make any difference because quite simply the players are not good enough. Apart from about 6 players in the squad the rest should be nowhere near the Premier League. They have proved this game after game. Every team outplays us. Every team has more pace than us. Every team defends better than us. Oh and what exactly was the goalkeeper doing for the third goal. Slow as shit at getting down. To be expected after he fumbled three powder puff shots in the first half. If anyone thinks a new manager is going to stop this free fall down the league they are deluded. We can't score goals and we can't stop teams from scoring. We lost two games in a to the bottom club. We have now played Ross County three times. Drew 0-0 at home, lost 2-1 away and have now lost 3-0 at home. 1 point out of a total of 9. One of the worst Motherwell squads that I can remember. If the new manager was in the stand today I would advise him run 100 miles away from this job. it's a complete rebuild from top to bottom with now money. The Well Society should take a well earned bow for knocking back nearly £2 million offer from the Barmack family for 47 per cent stake in the club. The lunatics really are running the asylum.

So you were in favour of the Barmack offer then? The lunatics would definitely have been in charge if the offer had been accepted.

People like you are going to manifest a dark destiny for this club.

It's not a new manager we need, it's a miracle worker. Our squad is bereft of quality and we seem to have thrown good money at loan players in the hope of finding a decent one. Good plan!

The new manager has an impossible task. No amount of coaching will turn the likes of Halliday or O' Donnell into good players as they are well past their sell by date. They're not the only ones but I've seen enough of them this season to know that they are finished at SPL level.

Maybe but it would help to put the right players on the park from the off and sort out the tactics.
Will go a long way.

Absolutely. The game was lost at 1.45 when the team was announced. O'Donnell was never a central defender; why was Casey benched; Sparrow is never a wing back; Slattery is nowhere near match fit; Halliday?; what had Watt done to deserve  a start? We obviously set out to match County physically, which was always doomed to fail. No pace in side. No Manwhanise or Nicholson for creativity.

A cautious dull pedestrian line up and thats exactly how the game unfolded.
