Our injury list is almost laughable. The sooner this season over, and the clear out taken place, the better.

It is ridiculous.

It's also why we have a bloated squad, because even with 30 players, we struggle some weeks to find a fully fit matchday squad.

IMO we have got the worst squad of players I can recall since 1967/68 when we went down. I think where we are right now, that talking about tactics and formations etc. is a complete waste of time.

Those picked to play against Dundee should be told that their job is a straightforward one - go out, put in a shift and win the f*cking game because they owe it to the club and the fans.

I believe that we’ve signed too many players that have already been carrying some sort of injury.🤬

Do we have a medicine and sports science department? If we do then a review is needed. Far to many injuries. Mind you, since he arrived Blaney seldom plays a run of games before being injured. As for Nicholsen. Think his career is gone now. Risky signing that's not worked out.

When the going gets tough it seems it's easy to get injured.

I can't believe we gave Nicholson a 2 year contract. He hardly kicked a ball for us last season, to give him 2 years is wasteful.

Think Stuparevic is also contacted until '26. Another player hasn't seen the light of day.

Thankfully Barney is out of contract end of this season, that should be the end of his time.

Got to say out of the dozen or so who are injured there's really only Ox, McGin, Stam that impact starting 11.

So many poor signing choices , appreciate a couple of the injuries were hard to foresee but many of them are not surprising.

I’d add Seddon

And Kaletta

What is the story with him?

He has been absent from squads but with no explanation of what happened to him or how long he will be out?

Trained today as did Stam according to the manager but he said was probably too early to play them both on Wednesday

Pound for pound the worst stack of transfers in the history of the football club and let's not forget a fair few of these guys had a track record of Injuries before they signed.

But this is what happens when you buy cheap and cheerful you end up buying twice!

The Ross County fans did warn us about his eye for a player.

I said this a wee while back but my biggest fear isn't who the new manager would be, but the fact that what they have to work with just isn't good enough. Previously when a manager had been replaced mid season they have at least had a squad of a decent enough standard to play with, this time around we are asking Wimmer to polish a turd.

Im not disagreeing with everything you say but the injuries certainly haven't helped. Ox was a big loss as was Stam. It's just been a complete nightmare of a season.

I think thats a bit harsh on Blaney. He's made over 50 appearances since signing. He was out for ten weeks with a medial injury previously - it very much looks as well that Nicolson was injured in training last week - someone put a vid up elsewhere that certainly suggested Nicolson was training after the new manager came in.

I get peoples concerns about signing folk who have previously been injured - I think we've just had rotten bad luck over the piece

A customer from Colorado I work with is Mexican. He knows I'm a Motherwell supporter and told me last week he was a Dundee fan now thanks to the 2 Mexicans that joined them in January, and was looking forward to this game.

Not my best anecdote, but true nonetheless.
