Im waiting for the lurkers who say fuck all when we are in freefall, wait till its safe, then accuse every one else of being panty wetters. Mind you tonight anyone can call me anything they like nowt will diminish my pleasure of us turning them over . I detest the OF with a passion that will never be surpassed

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

Barry Ferguson is a Fud. Can't string 2 words together and lives on his past glories. Will never be a good manager in a million years.

Plus my mate gave him a doing in Hamilton one night when he insulted his wife.

He's not very articulate. Just said the same to my brother

With Miller, Slattery fully fit again and AP on the way back, I don't think we'd have been relegated, regardless of who was in the gaffer's seat.

But irrelevant now, unless we lose the next 5 on the bounce.

Kettlewell will always be able to point to that.

However, if he was that confident, he should never have walked......

Tbh. I don't think it matters now. I was a huge Kettlewell fan as most people know and even if people are cheesed off still with his interviews he did the right thing for him and the club

I do think we would have struggled. Because it wasn't working for Sk

I was at the county game and we were honking. It hurts my heart to say this but SK took us as far as he could

Obviously SK had gone before that game but we were actually the better team for long spells but couldn't score.

I do think if Ketts had stayed we would have been in trouble. Something clearly wasn't working. He lost confidence and so did the players

The players can only be as good as the Manager sets them up to be. By playing to their strengths even if that means adopting a different approach at times. SK showed no intention of doing that even before LM and AP were injured. So I do not believe he would have done anything different when they returned. We can agree to differ.

Anyway, irrelevant now as you say.  Thankfully we have someone new at the helm so we get back to enjoying days like today. Well done to all involved and thanks for that. Best game day I have had this season.

It matters because of the way he left and the narrative he tried to create.

I stayed with him to the end and would have been happy for his legacy to be one of a half decent Motherwell manager who eventually ran out of ideas.

He changed that. No one else.

For that reason, I dont want to leave him any way to justify himself. He shat it. The players are proving it now.

Me too. But I think it's time to let it go. We've moved on and like I said previously I I'll always be grateful that he kept us up for two seasons. That's it.

Also. Maybe he over egged the abuse he got but he did get abuse. Possibly there were so many factors in him leaving. Being someone who was working too many hours

Maybe Wimmer is just better than Ketts.

I was in the pod stand for the Ross County game and some of the abuse that was shouted at Frail and the team was unreal. If folk think Kettlewell wasn't abused - I'd say otherwise

Can you not just call him Luke 🤣🤣🤣

To be fair, he's been called worse. At the Celtic game, one of our lot said he "liked the look of the big hobo". And today I messaged my bluenose brother that I couldn't believe that they let a Metallica roadie score into them...

I'll defend to the end that he gets called Luke

I don't think he will. It's obvious he had run out of ideas

I honestly think that SK simply ran out of ideas and it was time for him to part ways with our club. He showed no signs of being able to change things and was not getting the best out of the squad. Thats quite apart from a dearth of entertainment.

From reading comments on the AGM, I suspect he was given some kind of pay off, but thats pure speculation on my part.

We've now moved on and our immediate on field future is looking somewhat brighter. Long may it continue.

He would not be due any pay off if he quit.

I'm really sad and it's got nothing to do with Kettlewell. It's bloody hard being a well fan. I've spent so many years buying season tickets when I've been poor. It would just be great to have a season where we weren't worrying

This is not a criticism of anyone. Not an equal league either

Wev just skelped Rangers at Ibrox..... cheer up! 😁

Absolutley superb result today. Great to build on the positive start Wimmer has had & 6 points i 4 days - yeeha!

Rangers supporting mates who were there said we pressed high & they had no answer to it.

Keep it up, what a change in fortunes, attitude & enjoyment. No reason to keep talking about the last guy, long live the new king

You'd think not. Don't really want to go on about yesterday's man, but Brian Caldwell refused to answer a question about this at the AGM.

I think that MW has now made his mark and is winning over the fans and probably the players after this result and performance. Not all of our managers can say they've won at Ibrox and this is only his 3rd game in charge.
