Its a big ask.  St Mirren seem on paper to have the easier run in. They have Killie (H) Dundee (A) Ross County (H)

It certainly is and perhaps they might sneak top 6 but could a few twists and turns

County are also on 35, same as St Mirren and play Dundee Utd and Aberdeen at home with last game away to St Mirren.
Hearts play Celtic away Dundee Utd home then us at fir park

Utd have County and Hearts away then St Johnstone at home

Aberdeen have us at home then county away with last game Rangers at home

could be a wild last 3 weeks before the split with a lot of those games hard to predict

Hearts could crash and burn or absolutely romp it.

It's kinda in their own hands with the fixtures they have.  They are in good form but a loss to Celtic might give them the jitters.

Dundee Utd are in really poor form and have two away matches.  They have 4 points from their last 15 away points. Ross County and Hearts have also been pretty strong at home.

I think if we are going to make it it's more likely to be Dundee United we leap.

Away to Ross County after a really poor performance against Dundee is a tough one for United. Only Celtic have beaten Ross County on their own patch in 2025.  Then they are away to Hearts, who have only lost to Rangers at Tynecastle in 2025, and then they play us.

I think you're right. On current form, Utd seem the most likely to drop out the top 6. Aberdeen have just about enough in the bank to be safe and Hearts should be good enough to stay there.

Would be some game at Fir Park, though, if the top 6 came down to the winner of the Hearts match.

If Hearts or Dundee United fail, then our main rivals for a top 6 place are St Mirren. Its going to be very tight, and might go down to the wire.

St. Mirren have the easiest fixtures,. on paper at least, but I honestly think we are going to have to take at least 6 points to make the top six so if we do that I reckon that probably knocks St Mirren out of it anyway.

I mean it could go to goal difference if St Mirren won all three games but they've only won 2 out of 11 so I don't see them winning 3 out of 3.

Yes, I think 6 points will see us top 6 if three of those are against Hearts.

Throwing away 2 points on Saturday at home against a direct rival has probably costs us our chances of a top six spot. However, the majority of the damage to our chances was done before Wimmer took charge. That said, the next 3 games are going to be exciting.

To still be in with top 6 is a bonus. 7pts out of 12 probably about 5pts more if SK was still in charge

Aye, I think losing to Dundee, St Johnstone and Ross County has had a bigger impact. Teams are all over the place form-wise, though, so everyone else has been throwing away points too.

But we are still in the same position in as much as finishing top six is still in our own hands.

We always seem to be slow starters in the game after a break. Happened again on Saturday, so hoping Wimmer can figure out a way to get us on the front foot from the kick-off in the next game.

Id love Dundee Utd to blow it and end up in the bottom 6. Sometimes others fans pain can be so rewarding 😁

Irrespective of which half United end up in, their fans will be moaning and grizzling.

Much like ours. Tbh I think they'll get top six

Oh, much worse than ours. Much worse. As an entity, not individually of course, they lack humour and moan from start to finish.

Going back as far as 1981, I recall them whacking us 6-1 at Tannadice in the Cup and the boos ringing out from the terraces. Its not often that happens at Fir Park. I also recall Jon Daly scoring for them against us at Tannadice and rather than cheer the goal they booed the ref for missing a "foul". Again our lot don't tend to do that.

Apologies, I digress.

I remember being at Tannadice and leaving when it was all over or so we thought and we scored in injury time I'm sure and there were fights all over the place - maybe 1994 or 1995? Cup game maybe. I could be wrong and it might have been a league game but was there with my brother and when we scored it got quite ugly with their fans.

(I'm now thinking I've made this up but Im sure I was at Tannadice where we scored very late on and their fans didn't take it well). I remember walking to the bus to go home and hearing that we had scored then it all kicked off with their fans

Think it was 1993 having looked up the scores. League game
