It's really simple - we don't have the players.

We are not missing anyone that can change a game in an attacking sense for us barring A.P
God even bring back Robinson!

Think I've just made an argument to my own question! What I mean is - the subs and squad we have just now - there's not one bright spark.

Frustrates me how specific supporters are wanting extensions and longer term deals for absolute mediocrity at best.

I don't think it was that bad. It was an improvement on the past few games, plenty fight and spirit in the team. Defensively looked much better too, with Balcombe, O'Donnell and Casey all having good games.

I have seen more passion and  effort from my 81 year old dad getting the the lawn mower out the hut to cut the grass.

Utterly woeful I don't even know what we were trying to do today it certainly wasn't trying to win a game of football.

Looked like we were just told to knock it forward but then we didn’t have players moving up to support or win second balls. Totally missed out the midfield today.
we are still not playing as a team up and down the field.

Quoting my own post - O'Donnell and Halliday fans specifially.

PS: O'Donnell was fine today but we need a complete overhaul.

I'm not totally sold on Andrews. Many rate him highly, but anytime I've seen him he's failed to make an impression and the game passed him by. A young player though.

Bang on. Everyones team selection barring mine (I had davor) had him it.
He looks totally lost. At least Davor gets involved.

I agree. I think some of the posts are a wee bit negative and I can understand that but I thought there was a bit more effort from the team but very little football and we need both.

Says a lot of the standard of Scottish football that that dismal fare was served up by two teams going for a Top 6 place.

Neither deserved one.

Honestly, 96 minutes of one big mistake.  The seagulls had better movement.

We've had 5 shots on target in the last 4 matches.

Only positive is that Ross County and St Johnstone lost so **probably** one win keeps us safe.

But even that seems like a big ask the way we are performing.

Fine today in that he didn't cost us a goal.

Our full backs are garbage though, they offer absolutely nothing going forward which has been a basic part of the game for about 5 decades now.

Exactly two professional teams playing on a perfect pitch and they serve that up,they should be ashamed, the standard really is embarrassing.

Was working so was stuck listening to it on the radio. Sounded flat and our usual issue of being deviod of creativity going forward.

Or biggest miss this season (among many) in hind sight is not replacing Spittal. Seems the link between the midfield and upfront is very lacking.

I don't know where our next goal is coming from nevermind our next win.

When we are looking to Casey and Slattery to keep us up then it's pretty bad.

The frontline has been managed  terribly all season think the confidence it's well and truly shot in all of them now.

The frontline has been a shambles all season,we have amassed umpteen options and not one player is comfortable playing on there own or in a pair,we have zero attacking threat from the wide area, slattery has been out main threat of late and he's just back from a long term injury.
