Kieran Agard Profile

Born:

10/10/1989

Nationality:

English

Birthplace:

London

Position:

Forward

Kieran joined Everton midway through the 2005/2006 season from Arsenal, and has progressed through the ranks to the fringes of the first team..

Pacy and with an eye for goal, Kieran scored plenty of goals for the Under-18 side before becoming a reserve team regular.

In May 2008, Kieran received the Keith Tamlin award for his overall contribution to the Academy set up both on and off the pitch.

And there was further good news for the Londoner when later that summer he was included on the first team's training camp in Switzerland.

He subsequently made appearances in several of the pre-season friendlies and was an unused substitute in the first two Premier League games of the 2008/09 season.

He was a regular for the reserves and returned to the first team fold, appearing on the bench at the end of the season.

Agard was awarded the Reserve team player of the season at the Club's end of season awards dinner and in July 2009, Kieran signed a new two-year contract with the Club.

Only update so far:

The manager finished on a note of frustration at missing out on a new striker before today’s game. The ‘Well boss had hoped to have at least one of his two targets snapped up to make his debut this afternoon but proceedings were held up and a deal couldn’t be done in time.

“I am a bit frustrated we weren’t able to do anything before the game today.” Gannon admitted.

“The players are keen as they are not getting their chance at their current clubs. We still have a week left and we’ve targeted a few and we are hopeful the deals will come off.

What has his quality of a keeper got to do with it? Stevie Woods is one of, if not the most respected goal keeper coach in Scotland while many on here thought he was a pish goalkeeper.

Saying that Gordon Marshall is now available, but he was absolutely shocking at Hibs as GK Coach...

it has everythin to do with it !!

if your a shote keeper yourself ... you can only teach other keepers to your level, your quality etc.

Is that not a bit narrow minded? Some people are better at the theory of things than the practical aspect of them, and seeing as coaches only need to teach the theory.... doi

Don't agree with this statement, brian macdonald is the youth goalkeeping coach at motherwell, he never made it professionally but was a keeper of good standard.

Because he worked at youth level he had a hand in training up alan martin now at leeds, and has played for scotland at international youth level.

Brian has a gift with not only coaching but people as well a totally spot on guy who's attitude is first class.

Although YOU probably wouldn't think he was a good goally coach because he didn't "make it" but hey that stands for jack enter The special one

Thats all i can say about that one you honestly don't know much about football and your opinion on such matters is null and void.

Go back to clapping at landing airplanes!!!
