Rammer
Away strip may never see the light of day... Canterbury UK have gone into liquidation! Really? Does that affect any money we are due to receive from Canterbury? Might explain the quality issues people have been moaning about.
Lobey_Dosser
When did that happen? The news is covering the emise of Diadora but I hadn't heard anything about Canterbury. This would explain the low levels of stock.

Scooby Hugh
Will this have an effect on the strips and also the away i'm sure was due to be launched for the 1st euro qualifier. http://www.sport24.co.za/Content/Rugby/264...1%2012-01/Cante Shug
Rickoza
Another new supplier if they cease to exist I'd imagine. No-way anyone could blame the club for this change of strip etc if it happens.

Onthefringes
A think thats just the South African branch that will be affected mate.... Well the senior manager at Canterbury UK seemed to think differently... £12 million losses in the past year...

Canterbury are not in liquidation and will continue to be our kit supplier. The away kit will be launched in August with the date to be confirmed. Bill Bones
Noticed their South African division did something similar last week so don't know where the last line of the BBC's report comes from.
Steve Diggle
It was nice to have had the hoop - would like to see a diagonal pettigrew band on the new Umbro one for Perth.
sieb_dystras_barmy_army
Where was the sneak peek of that in the programe then>?!?! Ah well, at least some of you have collectors items in the wardrobe!!!
Steve Diggle
This could only happen to us! And Portsmouth . . . . . and Preston. At least we got a chance to wear our new kits in a competitive match. In all seriousness though. This looks like a major problem for clubs to have signed up with canterbury and similarly Diadora. Unfortunately a sign of the times and sleeves will have to be rolled up (pardon the pun) to turn this around. I know how hard the guys have worked to bring the new kit about - so I'm gutted for them if they have to turn this round.
alanr
Took my top back as well, could've held onto it as a collectors item! This could explain why there hasn't been another shipment of the strips sent since the launch (or so I heard). Maybe another company could take the design and make the strips better EDIT: First Diadora now Canterbury. Scotland's national footy and rugby teams will be playing in vests and pants from now.
