Fir Park is the place to be this Sunday for a chance to get your hands on some exclusive merchandise direct from the Kit Room.

Kit-Coordinator Alan MacDonald is clearing the decks for the impending arrival of the new Canterbury kit and training wear and as a result, everything (with the exception of the sponsored match and training kit) will be available for you to buy.

You can also get your hands on some of the pitch which will be getting ripped up on Sunday morning....

12 noon @ The Centenary Suite

Not sure a section of the Fir Park pitch will improve anyone's lawn, but this sounds like a great idea!

Another random question - since tops & training gear are out the window do their polo shirts etc have there initials on them? Since it could be anyones auld stuff.

Also, I've got a pair of Roscoes signed boots - can I do a swap for Clarkys? :notworthy:

I thought it was for more horrendous tartan jaikets!

Seriously, will any of the stuff be able to be bought in sets? And what sort of prices are we talking about?

And will there be any actual memoribilia, or is it just this seasons gear?

Frazzle

Probably mate... Naw, we'll do our best to find bits with grass! The corner between the Cooper and the East is our best bet!

stupid question but can wheelchairs get to the centenary suite???

Yea, there is!

They don't, but they are Under Armour polo shirts that only the players were issued so it's not like they've been hooked out the 'Well shop and being flogged.

The money from the sale of merchandise and the turf, is it being used for anything specific?

Nothing in specific no.... Alan MacDonald needs petty cash for things throughout the year for the first-team that don't come as a part of his budget. If you can get a couple of hundread quid from this sort of thing then it really helps him throughout the year. It's more about giving people the oppertunity to get ahold of gear that they wouldn't normally though.

It's perfect for guys who play fives or teams who need gear for training...

Well, it kinda can. There's loads of stuff so if you're up early enough you can get enough to make it into sets...

And it's just this years Bukta and Under Armour stuff!

There's also signed home tops, pendants and other gear like that! All well worth a look!

Cheers

Well, ok, fair enough. Another thing, never knew the training gear was also sponsored (thats what I think I read anyway) - how come or is there a reason thats not up for grabs?

May go down, but it'll only be the boots Im looking at, again, like some has asked, what prices are we looking, can we go "right, £20 for this and that"?

Some, not all, of the training gear is sponsored and that obviously can't be sold!

The kit will be on long(ish) tables piled in neat(ish) bundles. Behind them will be prices!

Your talking a fiver for a t-shirt, tenner for a sweat that sort of thing!

I am sure Ale will sort you out Fraz - There's loads of stuff so if you take a bundle off his hands then I am sure something could be worked out!

Cheers

Steve,

its Alan MacDonald we're talking about - by far and away the best and most dedicated/thorough kitman in the SPL. They're fresher than when they came out the pack for the first time. :notworthy:
