Frazzie
Always sad to hear when one of the names etched in your memory, purely from folklore and never having seen them play, passes away. My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace, another legend lost.

steelman1991
Condolences to the Kilmarnock family. In this day the term legend is vastly overused - not in this case.
weeyin
Watch highlights of that famous day in 1952: Good stuff. As my mate said after the '91 Cup Semi and Final - "I guess we're just a 4-goals-at-Hampden kinda team".
casey
I've still got an old newspaper cutting from 1976 referring to his 3 goal line clearances in the 1952 cup final. A true legend. RIP

Kat
I'm absolutely gutted to hear that. He was a true legend. His partnership with Archie Shaw in defence must be record and he certainely did more than most in 1952 SC final. Rip big man.
Yir Elder
The first Motherwell captain to lift the Scottish Cup and an integral member of one of our most famous back lines. A legend. RIP Willie.
