happyslappy
Anyone know what is happening with the pre-season? Is the team off to sunny parts or the icy rivers of austria as in the past couple of years? Â Rancid reports that Craigs is in charge of the preseason, anyone heard anything as to who is in charge? Surely arrangements would have been in place before MM left the club? or has europe thrown it all in the air?

Wellfan1984
Reading our little article on that we're playing Wigan on 8 August! I thought all SPL clubs, along with the SPL board agreed not to play any matches on the 8 August as Scotland play on the Wednesday?
Bop
No, but Aberdeen are: -Clicky  Coincidence?   Well naw  It was McGhees idea to take us to austria and he clearly likes it so has decided to take his new squad.
Ped_MFC
.... in that case then the tour was organised before McGhee was even announced had taken over: - Â Telegraph from June 2 Â "Aberdeen players will return to training on June 29 with a pre-season tour of Austria pencilled in." Guest 'Flow
We're not going to Austria (or Finland)...  Can't arrange anything with the potential (hopeful) Europa League campaign through July and August...  Cheers  'Flow
Frazzie
We're not going to Austria (or Finland)... Can't arrange anything with the potential (hopeful) Europa League campaign through July and August...  Cheers  'Flow  That seems pretty obvious to me - bit of a daft question really. We could potentially be playing competitive football six Thursdays in a row, with a friendly with Wigan and the start of the SPL in between. Is that not enough?
