southernsteel
Anyone fancy a re-run of the famous "Nancy - March to the Ground" when down in Llanelli? I'm not sure how far it is from Stebonheath Park where the Fan Zone is going to be to Parc y Scarlets where the games taking place but I'm fairly sure it's under two miles. It's going to be difficult to get from one to the other by shuttle bus / taxi and a re-run of that famous night in France would be excellent. If it's an 8.05 p.m. kick off we could get things rolling about 6.00 p.m.

Alun Llanelli Fan.
There are two main roads leading from our clubhouse at stebhonheath to parc y scarlets, it's a 20 minute stroll tops. Don't see why one of them can't be shut down for you guys to march on down there. Let's hope the old bill our end see sense and close one of the roads. decorator
1100 tops
Jay
1100 tops Well we apparently sold almost 1,000 tickets yesterday, and there'll be plenty of folk still to buy their tickets (myself included) so I think we'll take a bit over 1,100. Wellworn
1100 tops Well the first batch of 1000 tickets were all but gone last night so my guess is 1500-2000
uraclown
i would reckon on about 1500 being about right, would be nice to take 2000 but just canny see it...hopefully i am wrong though
Jay
i would reckon on about 1500 being about right, would be nice to take 2000 but just canny see it...hopefully i am wrong though I actually agree with you, 1,500 was my estimate when the draw was made and I reckon that's still the most likely number. Anything over that would be fantastic. It's certainly not impossible though - I mean one of the lads coming with us isn't a Motherwell fan and just fancies a day out, so if there's a few folk like that then the number could grow slightly. 1,500 sounds about right though - still a very decent away support. Mourin-Hoe
Motherwell don't have a reputation for violence and the letters of thanks we got from the French on our behaviour should stand us in good sted to get a march on the go! Just wonder if their OB understands how much of a party is gonna happen
ONeils40yarder
'well over' a thousand sold when I was down at the Ticket Office at 11am today, and a half decent sized queue as well!! 1500 easily and possibly as much as 2000.
eaststandfan
We have got both the Local Paper and Radio station involved and it seems that our local Police are OK with your planned " March" from our ground down to the Scarlets Stadium (20 mins max walk!!) Suggest we leave to march to the game at 6.00pm I believe the game starts at 7.00pm
southernsteel
A six o'clock "march off" sounds good to me. By the time we get into the ground that'll give us half an hour or so for one last quick pint under the stand to lubricate the tonsils and then get into giving the team a good old fashioned welcome. SuperCC
I'm sure on this occasion many of the locals will be joining us on the march as they will be drinking in their own ground before hand.
welldone
i believe there 1500 sold already
