garethgardner
Cardiff have had a bid accepted for Paul Quinn supposedly for 300K. But we also got this guy on loan Maroš Klimpl. Whats he like ? I see you had him on loan last year and was just after an outlook on him. http://www.cardiff.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=159175
Gaag
you're fucking kidding! Piss off Cardiff and stop nabbing our players

Stu92
Mini-Motherwell anyone?
Rammer
He's as slow as a week in jail and will pick up cards almost every game guaranteed. For some reason people on here thought the sun shone out his arse. On the plus side he will give 100% effort every game.
Finlay
Bloody hell! This is getting a tad annoying. Although ON LOAN from where? Isn't he a free agent?

dosser1886
There are other teams with players apart from Motherwell you know!!
Finlay
After reading the article it would appear it is a TRIAL....and Cardiff are looking for a central defender so doubt they will sign Maros. I'd rather he was with Cardiff than Aberdeen though.
Lobey_Dosser
I don't know why some of you find it annoying. I think it will be hilarious if McGhee misses out on him and Hughes. With regards Klimpl, he is a decent player, a destroyer in the middle of the park. Was out injured for his 1st 4 months or so before playing. He started off in defence where he was woeful and quickly moved to midfield, where he received 'cult hero' status in some quarters for his no nonsense attitude. As well as kicking anything and everything he is actually quite comfortable with the ball at his feet, his form did tail off however. Good guy to have in your team but I think the likes of Cardiff can do so much better.
dossertillidie
Motherwell fc = cardiff city's feeder club
star sail
I don't know why some of you find it annoying. I think it will be hilarious if McGhee misses out on him and Hughes. You got the impression when McGhee got the Aberdeen job that he was very confident of getting Hughes. Maybe the players did not think as highly of McGhee as he obviously thinks they did. I know there are other factors but I think if Hughes really wanted to play under McGhee he would have gone to the Dons. On Klimpl, I thought he was hugely overrated. He had a positive impact in our team because the team was a bit lightweight and he was not scared to put a foot in, but he looked like a potential train wreck most of the time. He (along with Quinn) almost single handedly seemed to be trying their best to prevent our qualification for the Fair Play Euro place. If you have decent creative players around him (like Stephen Hughes) then there is a place for him to break up attacks but if you are looking for a creative player look elsewhere. He did not look like a defender to me either. Anybody else feel that it seems a long time ago since McGhee left?

punk_in_drublic
I wasnt a huge fan of Klimpl, each time i saw him he made some horror passes, he worked hard, but he wasnt irreplaceable.
Gaag
I love how you've went to so much effort in typing Maroš Klimpl, only to ask for oppinions on him
garethgardner
http://www.clubcall.com/aberdeen/midfielde...net-917218.html Typing error mate. Heres another link. I see Klimpl as good back up to Gavin Rae or Riccy Scimeca for us. We could do with a tough guy in the middle. Looks like he makes to many bad tackles for a center back. To many free kicks in the championship around the area will be heavily punished in this league
Dead Star
How many of our players have Cardiff been interested now?

Ya Bezzer!
I don't know why some of you find it annoying. I think it will be hilarious if McGhee misses out on him and Hughes. McGhee said he wasn't interested in signing Klimpl about a week ago.
weeyin
He did indeed. However, in a later interview I read, he said he'd be interested in Klimpl if he couldn't get Hughes.
another number
I'd much rather see all these players end up at Cardiff than Aberdeen. If they are that keen on our players how about next time we get a crap player we infiltrate Cardiff message boards talking them up... Haggischomper
He did indeed. However, in a later interview I read, he said he'd be interested in Klimpl if he couldn't get Hughes. Shoddy. He should get himslef sorted out with list of hundred and hundreds of possible player options for every eventuality like OUR manager does.
