turkontour
Hi all Hope you all had a great trip and enjoyed yourself in Llanelli. Rumour is, there's not much cwrw(beer) left for us locals for the weekend!!! On behalf of myself (Andrew) and Neil, we would truely like to thank the Motherwell fans for their generosity in purchasing the half time draw tickets for a signed top. It is most appreciated. The proceeds of the raffle, will fund a group of children to go on holidays to the Teen Ranch on the 19th July as well as a family from Motherwell to go on a caravan holiday at a later date. Once the holiday has been, we should get some photos on our site. Please continue to visit our site and message boards, www.llanelliafc.org Once again, many, many thanks and all the very best - diolch/thanks !!! claretbandonambershirt
Isn't this really what its all about, football fans getting together, having a beer together before the game, being rivals and outshouting each other during the game and then having a laugh after. Well done the fans of Llanelli and Motherwell.

turkontour
Hi Thought you might like to read this, especially as the Scots bloody won again !!! Wales 2 Scotland 5, a game of two halves. Wales took the lead through Rhys Lewis shortly before the interval against the run of play after weathering the Scottish attack well during the first half. However after looking comfortable with 9 changes at the interval, the game was turned on three incidents 20 minutes into the second half. First Wales keeper Wayne Edwards let a long range shot slip through his grasp. Then Mark Pickering was unfortunate to concede a penalty which Scotland scored from and Pickering received his marching orders for an early bath. Wales then suffered the loss of their second keeper of the game as Edwards suffered ligament damage to his hand. Scotland then scored again, before Tim Hartley gave 10 man Wales hope with 10 minutes remaining, but Wales then tired as the Scots scored two late goals to give the scoreline an unrealstic look. On the fundraising side we are now over the £500 mark in total once I load the money raised yesterday on Just Giving. Wales will play a return game against Scotland at Hampden Park early next year. Thanks again to everyone who has made a donation, which you can still do at www.justgiving.com/Wales-Scotland
