Haggischomper
If it's in honour of Sir Matt, could it be that there may be some old Man U boys involved too? Bryan Robson etc etc - like a Man U select?

trafficlight
Yeah, that's a point, haggis. Just need to wait and see what comes out in the wash I suppose, but I think anyone going along would want to see the team of today.
Cakes
I reckon it's be worth the admission price just to see Giggs play. Certainly wetting the appetite, but let's not get carried away......... Oh, ah, Caaannnnttooonnaaaaa....... Aye, he was a United Hero...... LEEDS UNITED. Ernie
Oh wonderful I have been a United fan since the heady days of Best, Charlton and my all time hero Dennis Law. I have always dreamed of seeing United at Fir Park and at last the wait is almost over

Chris
Am I the only one who's not fussed? It's only a reserve team...
EastStandWellFan
Am I the only one who's not fussed? It's only a reserve team... I sort of see your point - that was my initial reaction. However, if their reserve side includes Giggs, Neville, Vidic, Hargreaves, Owen and Scholes then I don't think there will be too many complaints. Stuart. Chris
Thats a big *if* though. I hope they do bring those players mentioned but I can't see it.
Geedub
What about the boy Marcheda or however you spell it?
Chris
Yeah Macheda. Well him plus the guys EastStandWellFan mentioned are very much part of the first team, not sure if they'll fit in with the 'reserve' side that the statement said would be playing. Oh and, Vidic is injured
Robyn
I don't see why the wouldn't be one or two bigger names albeit, oldies now. Giggs, Scholes or Neville would be good to see, not like there going to have a international game to play so keep them sharp give them a game. Along side a young team with the likes of Fabio, Gibson, Macheda, Simpson, Welbeck, Possebon or Rafael and who knows which side Ritchie de Laet will play in. I'm looking forward to it we know it won't be the Rooneys, Vidics and Owens. Ps. Vidic is only out for 2 weeks, plenty time to recovery for the 'Well game. Modernist
Am I the only one who's not fussed? I'm not fussed either, although the in - laws (Man U fans for some reason) have already been on the phone asking me to get them tickets for the game....... weeyin
Am I the only one who's not fussed? No. I'm not a fan of friendlies in general, and less of a fan playing any team that is billed as "XI".
Dee
Im not excited about this in the slightest. Il probably go along but I bloody hate Man Utd and it is just a pointless friendly.
mwellhighland
My dunfermline supporting mate is a huge Man Utd fan so I'll be going along with him and a few others. Usually stay overnight in Glasgow after a Scotland match so it'll make for a decent weekend.
