And I made a mistake on McGhee's should be 41% which puts him above Butcher.
dinnae-punt-it
Win Ratio (League only) McGhee (32%) Malpas (26%) Butcher (34%) Black (27%) Wow, tiz funny, some people on this site would have strung you up to dare question McGhee during his rein, yet the stats don't even make him better than Butcher! Interesting indeed!

CoF
Win Ratio (League only) McGhee (32%) Malpas (26%) Butcher (34%) Black (27%) Jings, didn't expect that. Someone should split McGhees stat into first and second season in charge and see what the difference is.
Ya Bezzer! Interesting indeed! To be fair Win Ratio is not really a fair way to judge a manager because it doesn't take into consideration the difference between draws and loses (except that they aren't wins of course!). For instance you could have manager A on P30 W10 D10 L10 and manager B on P30 W10 D0 L20 and it would be the same ratio for both.

nethertonwellfan
I bought the special edition Championship Souvenir Brochure off ebay for that season. Just got it the other day and it is off to be signed by Joe Wark (our captain) and Ian Clinging. I got it for £1.50 and I just wonder what it is worth now that the signatures have been added. trafficlight
To be fair to McGhee, a 41% win ratio at a club Motherwell's size is bloody good going.
