mfc123
for those not left yet ... i've had a phone call saying that traffic on approach to Cumbernauld roadworks is at a standstill with 1.5 hrs tail back...... probably worth going over the Forth Rd bridge ...... Neil
Aye, we left Glasgow at 1pm and got onto the M80 to see the sign "60 mins delay", fair to say it was squeaky bum time. Sat in it for about 5mins and made a sharp exit at the Cumbernauld cut off. Weren't sure of the road to Bonnybridge and out that way, so rejoined at Dobbies and were moving quite well from then until the Arches. Maybe a mile or two and as soon as you got through them and the traffic went down to single file for a time, it was plain sailing. Really looked horrendous going the other way though and we made sure to go home via the Forth Road Bridge.
jk2205
Missed the first 15 minutes due to said traffic. Took about 50 minutes to negotiate it. Forth Road Bridge job on the way back and zoomed home.
mjw
the start of the clyde game was delayed yet we had fans still coming in at 3.30 (saying that they were in for the best bits)who do these decisions come down to?
Stuarty
Will be going via the Forth Road bridge to Aberdeen after hitting this traffic nightmare on Saturday. Left early so managed to get to Perth just after 2.
casey
We thought we were hitting the traffic at Cumbernauld but managed to bypass it going the back road through Castlecary, I think. Came back over the Forth Road Bridge.
