garymfc
a post to see well fans views on why we are so poor whenever we play against 10 men,i have followed the well for 30+ years.and it always seem to be that we struggle badly against ten men.as good as ruddy was on saturday,it says something that our goalkeeper was man of the match.i am struggling to remember a game where we have played well when up against ten men. numpty
Hmm, are we that poor really? Going down to ten men inevitably makes a team defend harder, and I can't think of many other teams who regularly tear shorthanded opposition to pieces either. Would be interesting to see some stats, though.

Haggischomper
It' all the more galling when you think we play with pacy wide-men. Mind you, I ALWAYS hated playing against 10-men. Their energy levels would seem to get up and they'd work harder/play with a chip on the shoulder.

Well as my son has pointed out to me, v ICT 3-2 win v Rangers 0-0 draw v Hearts 1-0 win v Hamilton 2-2 draw v Sheep 1-1 draw 9 points from 15 so not too bad this season but I heartily agree that we have been garbage in past seasons at this , more often than not losing to 10 men
DosserJoe
On the flip side - I reckon every time we play the Tims at Parkhead we should start wae 10 men. Works a treat
Jay
a post to see well fans views on why we are so poor whenever we play against 10 men, Because Yassin Moutouakil is as bad a player down, so when Aberdeen got a man sent off it just evened up the teams. When you put it like that a draw was actually a decent result on Saturday.

So that's only 7 points from 5 games.

Absolutely yes, it was also a cup game nil points so that makes it 6 points from 12 ,no defeats
Motherwell Football Club
The reason is that, we essentially play with a back 5. As the ball is often played to Hateley from defence, we get no 10/9 man advantage.
