stoney
looks like he might be on his way from Killie. Â could he be a decent manager for us or does the old hearts connection feck that up ?
Neil
I'd say the old shite manager connection would screw that up. Â There are few people I, and many others I'm sure, would not accept as the manager of our club, and that moaning faced idiot is one of them. Al B
Vastly better manager than he gets credit for. He's the sole reason Killie arent in the first division at best. Â Still wouldn't want him mind you, but he's far from a shite manager.
Frazzie
The fact that he's a fat, useless c**t who turns every team he manages into a shower of dirty, cheating cloggers is what fecks it up! I would be absolutely distraught if him and that tit Billy Brown were ever in the home dugout at Fir Park.
MelvinBragg
looks like he might be on his way from Killie. could he be a decent manager for us or does the old hearts connection feck that up ? Is he jumping? Or being pushed? Haven't heard any word of this...
Frazzie
Big bit in the paper about it today. The chairman called Kevin Kyle in for talks about a new contract, and turned the conversation round to asking Kyle what he thought about JJ and his tactics. Kyle, quite rightly and to his credit, told Jeffries straight away and has been quoted in the paper as saying he doesn't want to speak to the chairman anymore and that he's loyal to the manager. Â On the same subject, if this means that Kyle gets punted, I'd take him at Fir Park in the Duke is away.
Lobey_Dosser
Is he jumping? Or being pushed? Haven't heard any word of this... Â Think he's jumping due to the chairman asking Kevin Kyle about his thoughts on team selection. Â Don't see him walking away without a payout mind you. numpty
could he be a decent manager for us or does the old hearts connection feck that up ? He could have licked every Hearts player's boots clean for fun for all I care, if he came to use and did a good job. Not really the style of manager I'd like to see at the club at this time, though. brisbaneMFC
Must check my teabags, because there something funny about that last cup. Jefferies manager at Well? Scuse me, I'm off to battle unicorns.
Ya Bezzer!
He wouldn't be a first pick but even his critics would have to admit he has a decent record in the SPL. Â Funny that so many Motherwell fans don't like him when if you were to compare him to any other manager in Scottish football it would probably be wee Tam McLean. Haggischomper
Don't like Jefferies style. Â Fair play to big Kyle, by the way.
Well73
No thanks, tho if the paper talk is right and the Killie Chair asked a player about the manager all is not well in Ayrshire. GIRUY Killie
daver
I think Boyle has shown with his recent appointments that he is unlikely to go for anyone as obvious as Jim Jeffries. He also he seems to like a bit of personality to his managers.
yosemite sam
We are going to have to put up with the press speculation until JB gets back from Aussie land. Then we'll see what the true facts and resulting appointments are.
MJC_MKI
Didn't like him when he was at Hearts, but that was mostly down to some of the players they had at that time, and the fact that they almost always beat us. However, I am big enough to see past the 'Hearts connection' that no doubt would cloud many older Motherwell fan's judgements and I really think that we could do a lot worse than Jim Jeffries. He is a proven SPL manager who is an excellent tactician and knows how to make his sides hard to beat. At a club like Motherwell we're not really in a position to be choosers and I think Jeffries would do a good job for us. Â Don't think there's much chance of it happening though so the hardcore Jambo haters in our support needn't worry.
Joeboy
Really would not support this. He is the biggest douer faced bastard of a man I've ever seen in Scottish football. Always looking to pass the blame to anyone or anything or than himself. He is just an unfashionable Jim Gannon to be honest. I'd rather take Craig Brown long term. And for another thing, I'd take Kyle at Fir Park in a second.
DEWELL
Never in a million years. Anyway let's give Jack and Victor time and games to see how they do im confident they'll be fine and i like the Auld timers where as JIM JEFFRIES!!! Rickoza
Would hate this appointment IF it ever came off. Would make Maurice Malpas (when he was "asked" to leave) the most popular Manager we'd ever had by comparison.
