Looks like Ruddy was well behind the line when he caught the ball, but had it all gone over the line?

The ref said no and that's all that counts! -_-

I looked straight across at the Ass. Referee who was actually in a brilliant position to decide so I'm pretty confident it wasn't over.

the referee had one of the worst performances from a referee, that I have seen all season, and thats saying something.

I`m not being biased, because both teams suffered and gained through some decisions. Im not talking about major incidents in the game either, I knew it would have been a straight red for coke as soon as i saw him diving in like that, and the full ball no way crossed the line for that cross that ruddy caught.

its simple decisions that he failed to make throw ins and corners/goalkicks given the wrong way, silly free kicks given to both teams, and absolulty no consistency when it came to giving free kicks either.

you should barely notice a referee in a game, when you dont know who refereed a game it usually means they have had a good game and let the game flow.

too many referees, this season especially, ruin games & want to be centre of attention for some reason.

richmond has been like this for a while, surely the SFA Assesors must see this every week.

If you'd offered me a point at half time I'd have taken it, so in the end I'm not too disappointed with the 0-0, especially as I anticipated it being a difficult night given their last performance. That said they were there for the taking, even with us having ten men.

As regards big Giles red, as soon as the Falkirk players got all uppity and ran over making a big noise, I knew that shytebag Richmond would send him off. At the time I felt it was outrageous but I can see why he was dismissed. Not malicious but mistimed very badly!

Mind you, if the Falkirk team but as much effort into playing fitba and scoring goals as they did in trying to get big Giles sent off, they wouldn't be bottom of the league! With ten men I felt we looked more dangerous going forward, and with a better final ball could've won it.

All in all, not too bad.

I heard the interviewer on Radio Scotland say that he had spoken to Richmond who said the Falkirk players were arguing that he hadn't played on as they had a 4 v 2 developing and not to get Coke sent off. From that our lot wired in as they thought what we did. Thought it was a red card at the time, TV hasn't changed my opinion. One of the few things Richmond got right in the second half of the first half. He had a strange game - good at the start and good in the second half but appalling as we got towards half time.

From the highlights it certainly looked like the Falkirk players were trying to get Coke sent of. They have an absolute cheek to complain about hefty tackles after the performance they put in at Fir Park last year. McBride had one on Hammell that should've been a straight red and he didn't even get booked!

I would have no problem with Falkirk getting relegated. Fuck them!
