WishyWell
Apologies if this has been mentioned before elsewhere, but this was in the match report on Cambridge Utd's game at the weekend: "Meanwhile, Charles Ademeno, who was being watched by scouts from seven League clubs and Scottish Premier League side Motherwell, caused numerous problems in the first 25 minutes with his pace and ability to turn on a sixpence." Haggischomper
his pace and ability to turn on a sixpence." Might fit better into our budget if he can turn on a thruppence. Good to read of our interest though. I know many expected our side to be filled with OAPs under Jack and Victor but that's just not proving to be the case at all so far. Steve Diggle
Would be better if we could sign a lizard or some other creature that could turn in a sandpit.
weeyin
That must be one of my most hated footballing cliches: "He turned like a lizard in a sandpit".

Gaag
Good wee player, could maybe do us a turn. Although the BSq Prem isn't of the same standard as the SPL, I'd say it's probably as good as, if not slightly better than the 1st division. And the U's (despite their league position) are probably in the top 2 or 3 clubs in that league in terms of size and facilities. Might be worth a shout to bring him in and give him a chance to shine. A certain Mr Ruddy came from Cambridge Utd and have historically churned out some good players over the years, not to dissimilar a club to our own. Although... trafficlight
Although... Dion Dublin Big Dion did well during his short United career and it was a shame he was never quite the same after his leg break. Not what you'd think of as a Manchester United type player but he was a real handful for defences. I liked the big man, though of course he wasn't a great player. Shaka
Saints + Swindon in for Ademeno Southampton + Swindon were duking it out for him at the end of the window apparently, so doubtful we could match any of those teams for wages etc
