So its even more imperative that Boyle gets him a decent long term contract pronto! Would be gutted to see him at another SPL club. If Rangers were really on the ball they would sell McGregor for whatever they could get, potentially £5million-ish and buy Ruddy from Everton for a (very) small fraction of that. The papers will fill as many column inches between now and Sunday with as many Celtic/Rangers stories as possible, which will lead to a few left field transfer stories. Between now and the start of next season, Celtic and Rangers will be linked with about 7000 players, just so when the papers actually get one right, they can "exclusively reveal" that "we told you first!" missing out the fact that they also got the other 6999 completely wrong. Ruddy has proven in the SPL that he is a top-notch young goalie, Everton seem happy to let him go for a small(ish) fee, Boruc isnt as good as he was etc etc. Its not outwith the realms of possibility for Cellic to sniff about our top talents is it?
