trafficlight
Is that one goal conceded in NINE games? You guys watching the team week in and week out, what do you put this down to? It's a fantastic statistic.

Albie
Just in from game. Big Kyle scratched and bit and elbowed and kicked and we still stood tall. Makes you wonder why Reynolds and Hammell not considered for Scotland

trafficlight
Hey, Rooney would struggle to bag a goal at Fir Park at the moment. It's a superb record!
Rammer
Hey, Rooney would struggle to bag a goal at Fir Park at the moment. It's a superb record! Craggs would have Rooney in his back pocket and if he did win himself a penalty Ruddy would save it anyway!
Jay
Craggs would have Rooney in his back pocket and if he did win himself a penalty Ruddy would save it anyway! Rooney's been trapped in Craggo's back pocket ever since September '05.
BarnsleyFCFan
Just in from game. Big Kyle scratched and bit and elbowed and kicked and we still stood tall. As somebody behind me pointed out in the first half, Kyle was Motherwell's best defender today! The guy is a donkey. Take nothing away from the defence though, they did look solid with a great 'keeper behind them.

BarnsleyFCFan
Do you get along to Motherwell often, Barnsley? I think today was my 2nd game of the season. I tried not to go too often because before today I had never seen them win! How about you mate?
Finlay
Great run and delighted with not just our regular back 5 but the entire team. Many times in a game you see the likes of Lasley and Jennings clearing things from our own box.

It's a long trip but we'll make it eventually.

I thought Lasley had a good game, he did nothing spectacular, he just cleaned up infront of the defence.

My sister no longer lives in Manchester, but our head office is there so next time I'm down I'll have to give you a shout!

steelboy
the credit has to go to the back seven. ruddy, the four defenders and jenno and las in front of them. it's been a great run and i can see it going on for a while. i'm sure someone said it'd be impossible for us to keep a clean sheet
Yir Elder
I think its down to keeping a settled back four and keeper, and having a hard working midfield in front of them. Jack and Victor must take credit too, as they must have had an influence on the training field. Now, all we need to do is start scoring a few more.... trafficlight
One goal conceded in nine games is superb in any context, so for one of the smaller teams in the SPL it's outstanding. Do any auld diehards know of a better defensive sequence for the club?

Neil
Do any auld diehards know of a better defensive sequence for the club? I went back on Soccerbase earlier on and couldn't find a better unbeaten run than the one we're on as far back as 1995/96 when I stopped checking, I'd assume it'll be the same for shut outs. punk_in_drublic
Its an unreal record. Brilliant. Any team in any league with such a record is doing well.
Optimus Prime
Its down to better organisation, players playing better and a more cautious approach (if its a choice between attacking or holding back in preparation for opposition counterattacking then you hold back).
