punk_in_drublic
Alright guys, Not football related but club related. Im getting married in a few months and i went down to the kilt shop in Motherwell today and booked the Motherwell tartan (the black and grey one). I was meant to get a sample but forgot, has anyone on here got that particular kilt and if so have you got any decent photos of it? I cant seem to find any decent pics on google, and the Dalgleish website doesnt appear to be working for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

punk_in_drublic
Cheers guys. Is the claret the same as the claret on our tops? The reason i ask is that we are going to take one of my tops with us tommorow in orde to get things coordinated around that colour.
Special aka
Obviously.............coz by the back o' lunchtime he was blootered !! 9% biers and he did very well imho, but we were tucked up in bed rather early that night ... fearful of missing the train you see. btw Mr punk, it's rather difficult to identify this kilt with MFC, very little claret and amber if I remember correctly. Just looks grey and bland .................. what happened to the old Rupert the Bear tartan we used to have ? At least that looked C&A. punk_in_drublic
Yeah, its a very light scattering of claret by the looks of it.

Fi2810
Top 2 are better IMHO ........... Tartans Agree with that, especially the middle one. They are more "claret and amber". Think the claret looks more reddish in the new one.
Cakes
I got married in a kilt of the original Motherwell tartan. Predominantly amber (let's be honest, it was yellow) with claret lines. My god, that was an ugly tartan but the groom was uglier so I think we got away with it.
ravenscraig
I thought the middle one in that link was the original motherwell tartan. Its the one i've got, bought it in a sale in one of the kilt hire shops in Glasgow. they had about 6 that had never been hired out so me and my brother got one each for about £

punk_in_drublic
I was originally going with my clan tartan (Cameron) but that looks garbage, think the Motherwell modern one looks quite good, but as folk have said, not a huge amount of club colour in it.
