Well_Jaggy
Nothing wrong with it. he was onside when the first shot was made then blocked and quite rightly picked up the rebound. so two perectly good goals been chopped off us in recent games. hope league position doesn't come down to goal diffirence! delboy
not the best of angles but I have to say I think he is off side when the ball is played in

Tweed
I would say that is inconclusive. However both at the time and from that I would say to be fair to the linesman (who was hopeless) that at least it was close. The two against United (Lasley) and Rangers (Forbes) cost us two points each and there were yards in it. Yesterday's, even if it was wrong, does not bother me at all. gullane
Cheers for this. How much of the match do you watch through a lens? The IT anorak that I am has now watched this 3 times and freeze framed when the ball is originally struck. Lukas appears to be 1 foot nearer the 6 yard line - so offside. But what a close one. Yir Elder
Too tight a call to be critical of the linesman in this instance.
GazzyB
Looks offside in that video..
Brazilian
Looks offside to me, only just video stalled at one point when I was watching it and Jutkiewicz foot was further advanced than the defenders but very difficult to call on that angle
Al B
Onside when the ball comes across and offside when the original shot goes away. that's how it looks to me. Close though.
Brazilian
Closest I can grab, ball is just coming onto Keeper
Well_Jaggy
on that shot, both lucas and their defender are in line, so looks onside to me.
Rickoza
Marginal, in which case, hasn't the benefit of the doubt supposed to go to the striker? In which case, on side?
Trucks
His foot is clearly infront of the Hearts player from that shot. Look at the six yard line ffs.
Well_Jaggy
looks like the defenders boot is also on the line, unless that white blob is something else. anyway, that shot is after the ball was kicked and we know lucas was on the move, so i still believe thatwhen the ball was kicked lucas was onside. at the end of the day, we won the game so its not such a big deal as others have been. Brazilian
White blob is a crisp poke or similar, can't believe someone smuggled it in by the stewards I'm now certain he was offside, well done linesman Shot about to be hit,
numpty
Yep, have to say looks like they got it right this time.
Well_Jaggy
much clearer in that one Brazillian. I have changed my mind now!
East_Stand_Al
I'm more concerned about the crisp poke , was it smuggled in or bought at the kiosk and subsequently used as a missile, will sections of our little neighbours support want sanctions ? Dead Star
Definitely offside.

Motherwell Football Club
Why is this even a thread. Ye could tell he was offside from the other end of the stadium.
jonnymfc
I would say offside BUT we won and thats the most important, and if the 4th Did go in would we be 3rd? First i thought i was offside but i see a case for him not.
daver
He's offside. If you pause the BBC footage when Murphy shoots, he's about a foot closer to the goal than Goncalves. So the linesman was correct although I didn't think so at the time.
