I like Tannadice. It's kinda quirky but very atmospheric. Certainly has come on since my 1st trip there. Mid 70's

Best trip for me was the 1-1 (i think) season opener in 1989 (i think). Cusack's first league goal. Right healthy 'well support on the terracing behind the goal (where the stand that Utd now occupy is).

canny beat a healthy support bedecked in claret in amber on a right sunny day

A magnificent Stan header right into top corner, we went mental and he ran behind the goals and dived into the crowd.

Was working in the Rococo that night, and he and Paul McLean came to the door. Mr Cusack was right chuffed when I recognised him, proclaiming that afternoon's goal as a right cracker. Signed them both in, and they were regulars thereafter.

Reckon wee Tam shafted him, not having him in the Cup Final squad.

Can't forget the cup tie in 93-94 when we were shoe-horned into that wee terracing bit in front of the "main stand". That'll be the bit which starts below pitch level. Magic atosphere, and brilliant wild celebrations at Softie' s late laveller.

Will never forget that day either. Just missed the big fight outside the main stand at the end. Had kids spitting at us on the way back to the car and old men throwing lit fags at us. Left Dundee at 1700hrs and was back in Dundee the next day to start training to become a nurse. 16 years later still living in Dundee. Good job I was not put off eh. B-)

Due to the trouble outside and OB's decision not to let me up the hill, I couldn't get back to my mate's car, (where my car keys were - and my car was parked in Wishaw, while I lived in Leith), so I sponged a lift off a bus and got dropped off at Newbridge. I stood there for ages hoping the McClymonts would drive past and pick me up. But no ........ despite a lot of offers of a lift back to Motherwell from fellow Dossers I ended up walking into Edinburgh minus my car/house keys. B-)

I really should write a book :(
