warlord
Motherwell beat celtic today 2.0 in a bounce game at lennoxtown, it was a celtic side that had scott brown playing along with paddy macourt, caddis and other first team players motherwell out played celtic and dominated the game from start to finish ,it was a man of the match return performance for michael mcglinchey who laid on the first goal and scored a brillant second . kmmfc
Means nothing unfortunately. Celtic play tomorrow night therefore any players who may have a chance of being involved in the St Mirren match will either just be taking it easy or not involved. Anyway, Brown has been gash for the past 18 months, McCourt can only last 30 mins every 3 months and Caddis couldnae lace Tom Hateley's boots therefore if we didn't beat them, I'd be worried!!! Bop
I'm more worried by the after match quotes from Craig Brown where he states that Everton might have to recall Jutkiewicz. I wouldnt like to lose him at this stage of the season!
Neil
Quite interesting to read on the Official's facebook account that we have two Americans on trial who also played in the game. Official Site
Robyn
Out to impress Interesting reading. 2 trialists (from Everton?) who Browns looking at as Lukas is likely getting recalled back to Everton come the end of the season. McGarrys back keeping himself fit with the squad. Humphrey played at full-back and impressed.

I wouldnt like to lose him at this stage of the season! In my reading of the article it was losing him at the end of the season not just now. Good result, I thought Humphrey had a great game at right back against the accies at NDP in the 2-2 game, his ability to get forward is obviously there to see but his pace would be a tremendous asset defensively. Who be this lad, Paul Slane playing for Celtic development squad. GIRUY Slane.
Jym Bob
Good to see midfield trio giving Craig and Archie food for thought. Nothing like good competition to keep everyone on their toes. Bring on the Utd.
cmack
I noticed Archdeacon got a run out in the game...Did anyone take in the game to pass comment on how he played? He seems to have been a forgotten man since the Europa League games pre-season where he suffered a bad injury...was on crutches at the Steau home game if i remember correctly. Would still like to see him getting a chance, but he just hasn't seemed to have been even making an appearance on the bench for most of the season, unless i'm missing something and he's been on the sidelines injured during this period? I wouldnt like to lose him at this stage of the season! He can't be recalled just now because the transfer window is shut and it's a cros border transfer. Nothing to get worried about, yet. Yir Elder
Good news that, although in terms of Ruddy and Jutliewitz I am resigned to losing them in the summer, along with Reynolds. Great to see that we are planning for next season already.

Does that apply to loans? Thought the loaning club could still recall anytime they liked. (Anyways, Broony said "David Moyes is probably going to have to recall Lukas Jutkiewicz at the end of the season", so nothing to worry about either way...) (Anyways, Broony said "David Moyes is probably going to have to recall Lukas Jutkiewicz at the end of the season", so nothing to worry about either way...) I'm sure I heard a manager say recently (Butcher I'm sure, maybe Mowbray) that he was struggling to get any loans from down south as they can't return/be recalled outside the transfer window, unlike if they are loaned out to another English club. This is correct I believe. The only ones that can be I believe are keepers as they are classed as a Specialist Position. That is why, if you can prove you require a keeper you can sign one on "emergency loan" even if your league does not allow you to sign emergency loans. So if Everton had a goalkeeper crisis then Ruddy could be re-called but the Juke cannot be.
Wellfan1984
More details on the 2 trialists... Clicky So the fear that Brown was going to bring in veterns so far have been unfounded with us being linked with as far as I have seen no one over the age of 25? I hope it's unfounded, but time will tell.
