Always nice to beat this lot......

Edit - Found this unofficial report. Obvious bias apart from the part highlighted.....

Hearts lost 2-1 to a late free kick from 35 yards after Mark Ridgers misjudged the flight of the ball in a strong cross wind. Motherwell had taken the lead 5 mins before halft time after a corner was headed back across goal and one of the Motherwell midfielders scored from 15 yards. Scott Robinson scored an equaliser from close in, midway through the 2nd half, after good work down the left and a cut back from Novikovas. Hearts will rue a string of missed opportunites particularly in the first half for losing a game that they should have won on the balance of play. Craig Thomson came closest with a free kick that their keeper touched onto the post. Temps and Novikovas also came close on more than one occasion.

Hearts line up

Ridgers

C Thomson Bouzid D McGowan Visconte (Deland)

Templeton (Elliot) Mulrooney R McGowan (Holt) Novikovas

Robinson Nade (Wallace)

Good performances from the two centre backs, Novikovas (in patches) Mulrooney and my MOTM Temps.

Of the subs Deland and Holt looked good. Elliot might as well have stayed on the touchline for all the effort he put in.

Good result, although it would've been nice to get a few more details of our team etc. Also nice to see that Elliott is as highly regarded by Jambos as he was amongst our fans!
